I'm paying over 6 and a half lakhs per annum for my Fashion Design Course that's integrated with Bangalore City University for my degree. Pearl only provides their own merit-based scholarship but if certain criteria aren't maintained, the students may lose it. Campus doesn't have much to offer, but I am part of the Fashion Society which is a club that focuses on the main team going to competitions outside of college and hosting events. I was also considered for the head of the fashion society but I declined them due to never ending work from my course.
Maybe with taxes and the stationary that college does not include, I'd spend around 7.5 lakhs per annum (I need to buy fabrics for garments as well that's why)
The fee structure is a bit high as my course costs 25 lacs for 4 years. The cost of studying is also quite expensive as hostel fees and normal expenses are a bit expensive.
They do offer scholarships during the time of admission.
The college provides loan facility via HDFC and few more banks. The college also has a tie-up with a bank for providing easier and better loan facility to students who wish to pursue education here. There are also multiple scholarships and fee waiver opportunities for students also.
Since my academic performance was quite good in the college, I got the merit scholarship. The college offers two types of scholarships, merit scholarship and means scholarship. Merit scholarship is for the creative and meritorious students and means scholarship is for those whose annual gross parental income is less than 6,00,000.
There are two types of scholarships that Pearl Academy offers, one is merit scholarship and the other is means scholarship. The institution offers 100% scholarship for 5 and 50% for 20 meritorious and creative students. Students whose annual gross parental income is less than 6,00,000 can apply for the means scholarship.
Yes there is a Merit cum scholarship awarded to the fresher students who are enrolling for different programs like UG, PG courses and Masters programs.Well under this scholarship a tuition waiver of 10% is also awarded to the students but just for one year divided into two categories 50% is waived by the university and the is rest cap is around 25%. Secondly a merit scholarship is also provided to the top performers in the batch of the admission process( entrance+interview) .This is recently launched to provide the well deserving students with scholarship.
