Likes

The teachers are nice and encouraging, they seem too qualified for their job.
The college provides very good accomodation and they take 700 per semester and 2000 electricity bill per semester and the rooms in the hostel are clean and well ventilated and the food given inthe hostel is also very good
There are different types of scholarships with different amount like 1lakh per annum or 50,000 per year and the scholarships are easy to get if you have good grade

Dislikes

Faculty to student ratio is 25:1 which i think is not good.
Each room of the hostel have 3 beds ,3 almirah, , curtains ,study table , mirror , chairs ,sockets ,lamps , gyser, toilets and bathrooms ,mess facility is also available, meal quality in hostel is not good .
The minimum attendance required to sit in final exam is 75% which sometimes become a burden for students

Best college I ever see

Likes

Faculty is very good and supportive and teachers help student any time. .
The infrastructure of college is very good and the view is very good.
Many fests and events were arranged ind college, such as night fests etc.

Dislikes

The college is 3 km away from main highway
Computer science faculty is not available here.
Core branch professors are not available in electrical branch

Course Curriculum Overview:

This college is very good in our area. There is shortage of faculty in some courses. The timing of exam is around 3 hours and the exam is not so tough. After this course some students will pursue M tech.

Best college I ever seen

Likes

Campus size is too big and infrastructure is so good
All teachers are available for all subjects
Many labs are available for skill development

Dislikes

We have to find internship by own college don't help

This college is best as compared to other government college in Himachal Pradesh There are all faculties of every subject as in Himachal there is lack of engineering faculties but in my college all faculties are available and teaches very well Difficulty level of exam is moderate and timing is 3 hours

The campus area is big and clean and this college is located in village where environment is too good and it gives us natural vibes
The faculties are highly qualified and never misses classes
The facility this college is provided is equal to the facilities provided by the private colleges

Dislikes

For boys hostel is for only one year and for girls it is for 2 years

Likes

College campus and surrronding environment is very beautiful.
Teachers of the college are very humble and helpful.
Cultural and sports faculities are very good .

Dislikes

Boys have to pay more fees in academics and hostels as compared to boys.
The surronding area is not that secure for girls.
There should be strict rules against drugs and other illegal activities.

A review of Government Engineering College.

Likes

I liked the environment, college is atleast one or two kilometres away from main market in a village of sort.
The teachers are nice and encouraging, they seem too qualified for their job.

Dislikes

No proper preparation of seating plans during the examinations.
The staff and teachers are too strict and some of them don't work so professionally.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Here the curriculum is based upon only academic knowledge rather than the practical knowledge. The curriculum can be improved by considering the fact that students need to be more able to understand the core concepts instead of arranging passable marks. The frequency of examinations is a headache. For example our current semester ended in just 3½ months, and we gave at least 3 Monthlies and 1quiz for every subject(6) excluding end semester exams.

Reality of college

Likes

College infrastructure is latest and pretty goog
This college have well planned curriculum
College have well equipped labs and computing infrastructure

Dislikes

In some course teaching staff is not complete
Placement record of this college is not good
Students detaining rate of this college is very high. Lot of student get detained every semester due to less internal or due to less attendance

Placement Experience:

6th semester student are eligible for campus placement. Companies like Texas instrument has tied up with the college . Average package is 300000 per annum . Minimum 6.5 cgpa is required if you want seat in the placement . After the degree if I got good placement in any company then I will do job or I will appear for all government services exam.

Infrastructure is good . Faculty of all the branches are available except EE
It has volleyball ground ,basketball ground , badminton ground ( All are outdoor)
Classrooms are good . All the class room have projector .

Dislikes

No auditorium having large capacity and small library
Machineries related to their branches is not available
Block of elctrical engineering is also not started

In past few years result of this college has been very good that influenced me to join this course in this college. Regular practical classes are held every week in which we get the exposure to real world application There is lack of faculty in electrical engineering branch. Every year two semster examination held having 3 hours of tining to each exam

Experience of my college life

Likes

The campus of the college is very good and environment for the study is very beautiful.
The faculty members are very good and they help students on every level for their good performance.
Campus life is very enjoyable as everyone respect each other and have a very social environment.

Dislikes

The campus besides the village so that sometimes villagrrs shows some restrictions about many things.
The campus of college is long hence some time faces time loss of the students.
Sometimes teacher has to go out for others duties so they are nota abhle to take the class.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course has very good breif about the knowledge of mechanical engineering and the syllabus is very fine in tha way it helps to enhance the both theoretical and practical knowledge of the course . The exams were held two times in the semester before going to final exams.

The college infrastructure is very good. The college staff is very helpful and provide study material for the students.
The faculty in In our college is well qualified and almost all the teachers are MTech and PhD holders
The discipline committee of the college is very strict

The infrastructure of the college is good, but not in the well saved and not in the good architecture shape
The discipline committee is very strict And they take very strict actions if any miss behaviour is performed by the students

The exposure to the courts of the civil engineering and other department branches very high. The The guest lectures are provided to the students to get the exposure to the industrial as well as to the other things which are related to the course. The teachers are very helpful and give the information through the projectors. The projectors are placed in every classes which gave the students a virtual experience for their course.
