After completing a 4.5-year MBBS course, students undergo a 1-year internship at an affiliated hospital. During the internship, students are paid a stipend of Rs. 18,200 per month. The internship offers substantial learning experiences due to a large patient flow, allowing exposure to a wide range of medical conditions. Post-internship, graduates can either pursue a government medical officer position or aim for an MD/MS course through the NEET-PG exam.
