Internships Opportunities:

The internship opportunities at many places were a bit limited due to covid but the college has assisted with the summer internship and block fieldwork placement. Organisations and NGOs were the places student were been placed like the association of professional social workers and development practitioners, doers NGO, puthri project, make a change, youth for change, Madras mc, IIT Madras etc. The projects in all the organisations were different some were related to DRR, some were of youth development, some ranged from women empowerment to tribal development etc.

yes they provides internship. many placement are in our colleges and student avail its. like government NGO's , industry sector, fellowship.

Placement Experience:

As a student of masters, we indulge more in social and NGO work rather than an internship as social work is unpaid. The job opportunities in this college is pretty great as well, although I did not really opt for the job.

We have limited placements available in our college, but there is scope for the college to expand the placements, as of now we have organisations like Mentor graphics, Pradhan and Dr, Reddy's laboratories offering placements to the students.

Majority of the college students prepare for higher education and some of the students opt for campus placements.The college provides campus placements.The average salary is around 2.5 lac.The packages offered are not high.

Our college provides students with personality development, grooming skills, and standards. Placements here are 100 percent, and students can develop their careers here. We are provided with a pre placement program in the fourth semester. Those who complete the 15 days of training session can enrolment in the placement brochure which will be supplied to the recruiters. We are also trained for two days workshop for resume writing.
