IITM Janakpuri Course Admission 2025: Dates, Fees, Eligibility, Application Process, Selection Criteria

Ans. IITM Janakpuri does not have any management quota or direct admission into any of its courses. Admission is absolutely transparent and strictly adheres to the rules laid down by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU). All the students have to apply through the university's centralised admission process on the basis of merit and entrance exam marks like IPU CET or CUET, depending on the course. This provides equal and competitive opportunities for all the candidates. Anybody who claims to provide direct admission must be avoided since it is not approved by the institute.

Ans. To get admission into IITM Janakpuri, students are required to come up with the essential documents as required for verification. These documents include the CET or CUET rank card, admit card, and all original mark sheets of Class 10th and 12th, along with their photocopies. Students required Character Certificate, a Transfer Certificate or School Leaving Certificate, a Medical Certificate, and a Category Certificate, along with a group of passport-size photos, proof of address, and a photocopy of the provisional admission letter given at counselling, are also required. Copies of all these documents must be provided in both original and photocopy for verification and record purposes.

Ans. The Institute of Information Technology and Management, Janakpuri, is a self-financed private institution. Founded in 1999 under the umbrella of the Mata Leelawati Shikshan Sansthan (MLSS), a registered education society, IITM is an independent, nongovernment college. It is also associated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), Delhi, a state university, with undergraduate and postgraduate courses valid as per the University Grants Commission (UGC) under Section 2(f). Although not a government organisation, IITM is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and accredited with an 'A' grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) to promote quality education.
