Classrooms needs improvements . Curricular activities are also there and few festivals are also celebrated. Labs also needs improvement. Classroom is less spacious.... Windows needs to be repaired ....

I chose Electrical Engineering because there is a good scope. Faculties are very knowledgeable and very friendly. Faculties teach us very well. Exams happen as WBSCTE schedule and questions are normal. If you read well then it was very easy to pass the exam so don't worry just read what the teacher teaches you.

5th Semester student are eligible for campus. Many students are getting placements. Highest packages was 20000 thousand and average package is 12000. Maximum students are getting placements. I will join any company after getting my degree.

The admission was so good in processing for the students who join the college, because the application we have in the form is easy to fill up. There won't be any interview in the process. After reviewing our marks in previous school or college the admission is granted.

There was a lot of colleges which will train us to a great professional, but I choose GSMP because it gives us lot's of benefits and knowledge. I choose civil engineering as the course to become a great civil constructor in future.

For admission in the college the students have to register themselves for the required course online through the official college website. There is Joint Entrance Exam for Polytechnic (JEXPO) exam for the 1st year Diploma students on the basis of which the students are selected. For the 2nd year Diploma Courses there is a Vocational Lateral Entry Examination (VOCLET) on the basis of which the students are selected.

Best Polytechnic College of West Bengal, best management & placement, teaching quality is too good, huge campus, many of computer labs, the workshop is too big and many machines are installed here, every year arranged tech. Fest, cultural fest, job fair, and cultural sports, at least the campus is awesome.
