REC Kannauj Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

There is no campus placement or campus internship till now currently I'm in 3rd year of graduation and I really don't know that campus placement is available in future or not. In this college, all the faculty are focused on GATE EXAM or you can say academics. After getting my degree I looking for off-campus placement in the field of software development.

I chose the electronic branch because I have an intrastate on it. In my branch, there are 6 permanent faculty & 6 guest faculty. Qualification of faculty is that all are M TECH qualified from NIT & IIT institute. The exam is happening in terms of semester exam & conducted by AKTU. The level of the paper is medium.

Campus placement of the college is not too good but good students are placed by campus placement and also many good students are placed by off campus. In 7 semester students are eligible for the campus placements. Many companies visited the college like TCS, BYJU'S, Infosys etc. And the highest package of the stream is about 18 LPA and the average package is 4 LPA. My plans after getting the degree are doing masters in my stream of electrical engineering and do something for my country.

From 7th semester students can go for campus placement through AKTU. Because this college is started soon about 2017. So it has not a proper Placement Cell but mentoring the students properly. About 70% got placed and 10% opts for higher education. I will go for campus placement.

College Campus under construction but there is a complete academic building.2 Hostels is completed first for boys and second for girls.Permanent faculty members are really good in behavior and also teaching skills but guest faculty is not as good as i expected.To get addmission in this college, you have to clear UPSEE exam and fill this college at the time of counseling.

I was interested in Coding and Computer skills and was very eager to study each and every aspect of the technology. So I appear upsee 2018 and I score good to secure govt engineering college seat and I opt it, there are many reasons to prefer this college over others. First reason is that this is government college and its fees infrastructure that offers btech course is very low. In very low amount of fees I fulfill my dreams to become an computer science engineer. In my college, Most of the faculty has master's and are pursuing PhDs from different universities from abroad. The teaching method includes all means of digital as well as offline teaching with detailed explanation and problem-solving. There are university exams in the quarter of the semester and college provides extra practice exams to get better and score good grades in the term exam.

College is still under construction. So, there is no placement record now. But this year, about 35% got placed in top recruiting companies like tata, Infosys, Byju's etc. One from Electronics engineering branch get placed with the highest package of 22 l.p.a. Many students got an internship opportunity in several companies like NTPC, DRDOs etc. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA and the highest salary package offered is 10 LPA. My plans after getting the degree are Higher Studies one of the most popular career options after engineering is to pursue further studies. If you're a B.Tech student, then you can prepare for the GATE exam. GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) is an exam that tests the comprehensive understanding of undergraduate engineering subjects.

Because this college is near of my home town and faculty also be high educate. They are educated from IIT, NIT, IIIT. The behaviour of college faculty, dean and director of college are naturaly very nice. The study of this college is very helpful for student

College is good but infrastructure is not excellent but better othar than compare.

Positive thing is the faculty of the college who are much hard working and keeps on pushing the students in their academics. Negative thing is the infrastructure of the college. The college have many unfinished buildings which are not built for more than 3 years.
