Detail go through to GMC Saharanpur

Likes

Best Hostel room , Good Lecture Theatre, Supporting faculties, near to beautiful hill station, Clean and greenery campus.
Main Boys Hostel having 2 badminton court .
Less power cuts , available mostly throughout the day.

Dislikes

Road conditions are not good , need maintenance.
Less CCTV surveillance for security , which makes it little bit concerning.
Mess food is good enough but menu can be more versatile.

Internships Opportunities:

college itself offers internships of 365 days for MBBS students and with 12500 stipend . You have to complete it in your campus itself , there is no other option of transferring your internship to other localities.

Likes

Well staibilized academic & extra curricular
Patient flow is good & patient bed are available in good amount
Student get selected in well known reputed pg colleges

Dislikes

College is under the up govt. Scheme and here is the bond of 2 yr
Trauma centre is under construction so it is not available
Auditorium under construction since 3-4 yrs

Internships Opportunities:

Internship available after the final year of MBBS COUSE student is compulsory to do internship for 1year /365 days . College pay them around 15000? per month for their internship. Hospital is also in the campus .

A tour of SMMH Medical College

Likes

There has been many selection in PG in every batches.
This college is placed on the Ambala Highway and is easily accessible. There is greenary all-over the campus, a pleasant, safe and peaceful environment.
2000 beds are for patients, patient flow in OPD is good. Interns do have a better experience with the locals.

Dislikes

There is not many programmes held apart from curriculum
There is not good enough management of roads and infrastructure since 2015 which was the first batch
There is extreme heat and cold and sometimes it's unbearable for someone like me. We cannot install ACs in our hostel without a hefty charge first

Internships Opportunities:

After completing our 4 years of MBBS, there is a compulsory Internship in the same hospital for a year for training purposes. We get skilled in managing patients and we learn basic procedures too. I have been visiting OPD due to postings and I've seen interns working hard.

An Amazing College to Enjoy Your MBBS LIFE

Likes

Lush green campus with balcony in each rooms of Boys hostel.

Dislikes

The campus should have been bigger with more of sports facilities.

Internships Opportunities:

The internship opportunities are only available in the last year of the course that too on a mandatory basis. During this period we actually get practical exposure to the fields of medicines and feel proud to be referred to as doctors

Bachelor's in A Government Medical College

Likes

Teachers, Infrastructure, hostel, classrooms, labs, OPD
Teachers are really nice and teaching method is very good.
Hostels and infrastructure are also above average.

Dislikes

Meal quality - Very bad and not bearable.
Library - All books are not available. Needs improvement
Campus life - Very bad, no amenities available

Internships Opportunities:

The internship is provided at the end of 4.5 years to every student. The internship is compulsory. The stipend is 12,000 per month for every college in Uttar Pradesh. We get to learn a lot of medical practices during the internship.

After completing your studies 4.5 years you will have to undergo a 1-year compulsory internship where you will apply the knowledge gained during your studies. Now you get the prefix Dr. You have to submit various projects to various departments during your internship, and do various postings in different departments. In short journey in this college is amazing. You will never regret your decision that's for sure.
