The internship for MBBS students is mandatory after completing 4.5 years of study, lasting 1 year/365 days, and is conducted in the college hospital. The stipend during this period is set at 12,000 INR per month, as determined by the UP medical council for all medical colleges in Uttar Pradesh.
During the internship, students engage in practical training, assist senior doctors, manage patients, and submit projects across various departments to gain hands-on experience. There is no option to transfer the internship to other localities. After the internship, students can either apply for Junior Residency (JRship) or pursue the NEET PG exam or choose to do both.
