Sinhgad College of Pharmacy Inside Out

Likes

The campus life is good many fests are organised and they are very popular
The grounds are big and are available for all sports
The infrastructure is not inspiring but more than good enough

Dislikes

The teaching staff is inexperienced and management is very poor
The fees for other lab equipment is taken separately
The overall quality is kind of mediocre compared to other colleges

Internships Opportunities:

The college offer both summer internships and regular internships Both private and government Outside city is also available Training and projects mostly occur in 4th year But don't think it is industry ready I am in third year and looking for internships

A different point of view

Likes

I like the teaching staff . They are helpful, supportive and talented. They teach us by interactive way engaging us in an effective way so that the concept remain in our minds for a long period of time. They help us in many ways other than academics.
The campus is peaceful filled with nature, great infrastructure. The Central Library is such huge in itself that it occupy more thousands of books of various sectors a perfect place to lean in and focus on the study and as ample amount of information
The college gives a platform to perform and showcase our skills in the Karandak trophy, Carnival, NSS, stree play and various events. There are Various Days celebration eg :-Bollywood Day ,Black white day , traditional day etc. where we feel relaxed.

Dislikes

The college must provide us more amount of Laboratory instruments/ glass wear
They should increase the transportation pool for students from college to main road

Internships Opportunities:

We don't get intership but we get jobs from Companies like Sun Pharma, Serum institute of India, Johnson and Johnson, Bharat bio tech, tata consultancy, etc give is an opportunity to be the part of their company as they offer job to the eligible candidates. The projects we get is in the 4th year as our final project which also impact on our interview and job placement. This project includes the invention or development of various medicines crude drug extraction etc .

COLLGE Goods and Bads !

Likes

The College Campus is one of the best in Maharashtra.
Beautiful landscaping and mesmerizing college.
Students from all over india come here to learn and that the very interesting part of our college.

Dislikes

No expected placements are happened till now(for our batch)
Teaching staff somehow is rude . Not everyone but some people are . They interferes in students personal life.
Overall college staff should be more trained and focus should be on student oriented purpose not on how they can earn their wages monthly. Bonding should be great with students which is not seen here.

Internships Opportunities:

College provide internship to the students .this interships are given by companies who are affiliated to colleges. They are helpful for students for their future projects and outcomes. Also this can also help to grab opportunities in variuos companies after graduation.

Yes, the college provides internships in 3rd year in companies like Cipla, life pharma, Nestle, TCS, Advantech, Pfizer, and so on. There are so many projects carried out under the supervision of companies like zydus cardila healthcare limited, lupin biotech, serum institute, etc.
