Admission to the course is based on a merit list determined by cut-off percentages across different categories, including SC, ST, and General, as per Bangalore University guidelines. The admission process involves attending a counseling session, which can be time-consuming and lacks clarity regarding fee payment details. The faculty comprises eight lecturers, averaging 50 years of age, all with MSc degrees and NET qualifications. Despite their academic credentials, many lecturers lack effective teaching skills, often relying on notes or student presentations, and none possess industry experience or additional certifications.
One lecturer, noted for excellent teaching, has been transferred. The fee structure is based on reservation categories, offering benefits to SC and ST students, while General category students do not receive scholarships or fee cancellations. The course does not provide placement services, requiring students to independently seek internships without prior guidance, resulting in last-minute challenges. Scholarships are exclusively available for students in the SC/ST categories, leaving General category students ineligible.
