Is there any age limit for admission to NID Gandhinagar?

NID Gandhinagar, Gujarat, is one of the three main campuses of the National Institute of Design recognized by DPIIT. The maximum age limit for admission to the M.Des. course is 30 years for General Category students. Relaxation is given to OBC / SC / ST students. Admission is based on the NID Design Aptitude Test (DAT).

We had an excellent placement cell. When the time of placement came we could register online and find which recruiting companies were coming when. Students were offered the roles of Textile designer, assistant merchandiser, fabric design manager, textile designing executive, interior designer in many companies such as cloth manufacturing, fashion design companies and textile companies. the average package which was offered was 6 lpa. Internships are also provided to students to gain work experience in textile and fashion industry. The stipend varies from 10,000 to 18,000 per month.

Placement Experience:

Recruiting companies that visit our college campus are Bombay design house, ebay, General motors, ADIDAS, Oracle, Trident group, Lifestyle etc. The average package offered was 12 lpa. Summer internships were also offered to students in fashion industry and brand designing. However I am not sure of the stipend that they had provided.
