Likes

The faculty of the college is very well experienced.
The teacher of JDBI are very helpful and understanding.

Dislikes

The campus is very small. It can be done better by increasing the area of the campus
The college has zero sports activities. Some sports activity should be there.

The per semester fees of Bsc in Interior Designing in JD Birla Institute, Kolkata is ?87900. The Admission fees is ?30000. Other fees like educational excursion fees is ?3000 and workshop/field visit/short term course are for ?4000. Examination and registration fees is ?3700(per semester).

Honest reveiw on JD Birla Institute.

Dislikes

Horrible campus. There is nothing to do here. No cafeteria, no student led clubs, no sports, nothing. Just plain boring classrooms.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

The per semester fee here is 60000Rs. The campus employment in JD Birla is really good and the institute is mostly known for its high-package placements. I am currently completing a course provided by the college to improve my CV. It cost me 6000Rs for a total of 9 courses, all related to my degree.

Life and JDBI

Likes

The campus life and the activities and fests.
Top notch professors and the extra sessions we got for doubt clearing

Dislikes

The campus was small due to which we faced problems.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

If you're someone who's parents work at Birla then you can get a little bit off on the fees but apart from that the scholarship depends on the ranking pattern. I did not opt for the jobs provided by campus as I had to leave for my MBA program so I could not opt for the job opportunities.

I didn't avail of any scholarships in college. I'm in my second year hence I'm not eligible for sitting for job campus interviews yet and so haven't received any stipend as well. The college fees according to other colleges here are a bit overwhelming but the opportunities the students get here for placement define the fee structure.

If you score more than 60 percent you can easily avail scholarship facility and also if your family income is below one lakh yearly you can apply. The fees are taken on a semester basis. After the course, you will get lack of job opportunity

JD BIRLA INSTITUTE DEPARTMENT OF MANAGEMENT IS A COLLEGE WORTH JOINING

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

The cost of the bba course of this college can cost you around 75000 per semester. there are financial assistance provided by the college. The placement cell is also very supportive as many companies such as PWC, TCS, My Captain, Wipro,Top Hire comes for campus placements. The average salary goes upto 2 lakhs PA.

The fee is slightly more compared to the other colleges of Kolkata. one has to pay an amount of 90000 at the time of admission which includes the admission fee as well. then its around 40000 per semester. Hike is less. Placements are provided to students to compensate their investments.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

The fee of JD Birla is a bit high. the admission fee is around 90 thousand and the semester fee ranges from 40--50k which a few parents find to be high. there has been a hike in the fee structure each year. Students are provided with the placement with their salary starting from 2.5lakh/annum to as much as 14lakh / annum depending on the company.
