Admission to the mechanical engineering program requires a minimum of 75% in the 10+2 exams and successful performance in the JEE Main. The semester fee is Rs 18,100, with the first semester costing Rs 45,000, including a Rs 10,000 admission fee. Hostel and mess fees are additional, with total course fees ranging from Rs 1-2 lakhs, payable in installments. In 2019, only CSE graduates saw significant job placements, although a dedicated placement cell helps 8-9 students from each branch secure positions with companies like Infosys, Wipro, Maruti, and TCS.
The highest salary package offered is between 8-12 lakh INR per annum, with around 70% of students receiving job offers starting from the 6th semester. The college provides internships with companies such as CNC and Byju's, enhancing practical skills with software like AutoCAD and SolidWorks. Various scholarships are available, especially for SC, ST, and economically weaker students, including PMSSS and TWF. The annual fee is approximately 44,000 to 48,800 INR, considered low for a government college, with scholarships like PMSY and education loans helping to maintain affordability.
Despite a fee hike policy, the costs remain moderate.
