The college has a robust faculty structure with 200 teaching staff and 20 non-teaching staff across science and commerce departments. In the reviewed department, there are 17 lecturers, including the Head of Department (HOD), with most being aged 34 to 38 and possessing M.Phil qualifications. Six are pursuing PhDs, and two lecturers are freshers with two years of experience at Infosys. The faculty-to-student ratio is approximately 1:50. The commerce department alone has 60 faculty members.
The staff is highly qualified, with many holding postgraduate degrees and PhDs. They are described as knowledgeable, interactive, and supportive, offering value-based education and extracurricular support. While most faculty members maintain a friendly and inclusive environment, some issues with teaching effectiveness and faculty-student relationships were noted. Nonetheless, the faculty is seen as a significant asset to the college, known for their specialized knowledge and willingness to help students.
