Govt. PG College Karnal Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

In our college thier is special room on placement cell on which yearly some company brings their projects and approach student as per thier need . Also the special campaign organize . But the package is received maximum 2-3 lakhs per annum

* i have good interest in accounts and i want to grow my carrier in this field so i choose this course * Due to nep 2020, there are many changes in curriculum it's more more practical less theoretical. *They should adopt practical approach. * Exams held twice in a year one in December and second in may.

It's not my my first choice because I was planning for abroad. So there is not any specific aspects to choose this course or college. Now curriculum of changed. And now I feel it's 40 to 50% related but still needs improvement. They should adopt foreign education system and should increase education budget. Exams frequency is 2 times in a year. Level is really easy.

PLACEMENT OF OUR COLLEGE IS NOT VERY IMPRESSIVE BECAUSE COLLEGE HAVE PLACEMENT IN FEW COMPANIES ONLY IN STATE, NOT FROM OTHER STATES AND THE COMPANIES IS OF MINIMUM PACKAGE IS 120000 PER YEAR OR MAXIMUM 240000 PER YEAR.

This is not sok difficult courses fir an average students as compared to other courses as it helps to understand the fundamental of tge commerce industry as administrative fundamental of business as well as management fundamental

I'm from commerce background so I decided to pursue bcom because graduation is must . College staff are very cooperative and motivated also their teaching method is also great . As a further mentioned that their exam pattern or difficulties level of exam are moderate as compared to other colleges or universities.

Exams are not difficult or not easy the level of exam are moderate. Each semester carey 6 month in which 2 month are exam period remaing month clases are going . Mostly students luke the theory subject in commerce courses because you wamt to write too much in exam to score good . In exam you should atleast fill 35 sheet to score good percentage

In last year the students become eligible for placement. After COVID not big companies come to recruit students. Last year I saw that ICICI bank recruiter visited your college and only 8 students get placements in which there were ba,bcom,bsc,mcom students. Average packege is around 2 to 2.5 lakh per year Highest packege you can expect around 5 to 6 lakh if you are in professional courses or doing pg level courses with some skills. Not all students take interest in placements because of it's packege so I can't tell a perfect percentage of students getting placements. I want to do a job in banking sector after graduated from this college.

So I choose bcom because I have intrest in accounts and finance so it provides good career options after graduation and in future I decided to pursue M.com and MBA after clearing my graduation it provides me a good knowledge about management

In this clg i like evrything but one thing i want to mention is that in winters exam timing is 9.30 which is very early according to me bcz my house is 40 km far away from clg. this clg does not have mba course they should be have.
