Hostel Facilities:

There is no hostel facility. You have to take P.G. which are available at backside of college. You can get P.G. there in 8k- 10k. They also provide meal in that amount and also wifi facility is there.

Hostel Facilities:

No I'm sure that there is no any facilities of hostel provided by the college that's why students who came far aways had stay in pgs.So at near of college (around2-3km)there are many pgs available so students are stay in group and also the charges is not quit high.

Hostel Facilities:

The Hostel came up with the college itself. It has a rich legacy of academic excellence and responsible community life. Located near the college main building, it is an affordable, homely and safe accommodation for about 145 students. The hostel has spacious and airy building with well-furnished rooms and well organized dining hall, common room and wi-fi facility. The common room is well equipped with recreational facilities like table-tennis, carrom-board, chessboard, LED TV with a modest home theatre, newspapers and magazines. Running hot and cold water is available round the clock in the hostel. The residents of Boys hostel have always demonstrated the ethos of dedication, sincerity and care for other. The hostel inculcates a spirit of co-operation and respect for different cultures in the residents as they come from diverse cultures. As a part of extended family of the college fraternity, Boys hostel adds a dimension of vigour and commitment to the academic and extracurricular ambience of the institution. While providing an opportunity of campus living, Boys hostel looks forward to residents to shoulder and maintain the best traditions of the college as a whole.

Life in a University of Delhi

Hostel Facilities:

Shyam Lal College has not its own hostel. But students get P.g's at a very nominal cost. Infrastructure at my time is not good but at this time the SLC become has changed, there is 2 new buildings, Lifts for handicaps. So the infrastructure is also is not a big deal if you are a studio person !!

GOOD EXPERIENCE

Hostel Facilities:

I had my own house so i lived at home.yes kwon a little bit. but there had been no hostel in this college.no pgs either. if it were ,i had to pay about 600-700 per month but actually i dont know since my college doesnt provide hostel. food is good at my house.

Hostels are not available in this college.mess facility is also not available .But this college has canteen facilty which provide fast food at less rates. Pg rooms for rent are available in nearby locations like bihari colony and shahdra.i individual as well as sharing room facility are available for Rs.5000-10000

Hostel Facilities:

My college doesnt have hostel facility so the students have to take pgs for residence which are easily available to them near colleges at and affordable rates according to students requirements and locality. Approximatedly at rs1000 or 1500 per month studenta cn get good pg's And about college canteeen According to survey my college canteen is no 1 canteen among all the du campuss with proper sitting and ac facilty.

There is no hostel facilities in shyamlal college and my house is in delhi so i dont know exactly about pg rents but my friends averagely paid about 5000-6000k per month which is not good at all.

Likes

In open learning, there is a benefit for those who are preparing any kind of government exam, so they have to time prepare their exam because Open learning college provides only weekly classes.
In open learning there's no a lot of burden to finish graduation

Dislikes

The value of open learning college is less than regular
Candidate who's preparing for any placement from college I would like to give negetive rating because there's no placement guarantee in open learning

Campus Life:

The infrastructure of this college, environment,library, Sports, canteen, playground, and many socities and everything is very very good and alsothe most important thing is that the teachers… The teacher of this college are very good, they are friendly and supportive in nature.... SLC ( shyam lal college) aims to make quality education accessible to students, especially girls, from the economically and educationally disadvantaged community of East Delhi. They provide library system to candidate to boost their education.
