Midnapore College Medinipur Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

In my village many of my elder brothers recommend me to get admission in this college. They have all graduated from this college. And now placed in a good post and several of them has their own business. They strongly recomended me to get admission here. Although my favourite subject was economics and in my parent's and some relatives' opinion, it's the best college for studying economics in My district.

My?interest in the subject led me to choose Economics at Midnapore College. The economics curriculum is well-structured, covering Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Development?Economics, and Econometrics, but a little more practical application would have been good. The professors are qualified, the attitude of the course is fun, however, this cannot be said about all?of them, some of them are struggling of lecturing in a classical way. Exams are on time, but?easy, although mathematical subjects are more difficult. Assessments should be more frequent but that could lead towards more presence in?the industry. These seminars and?guest lectures add to the learning experience. A good program overall, though it could be better with more?interaction and practical skills.

I chose sociology as it has many scopes for job even as a humanities subject. first this course allows you to do research and get to know about social problems. other than sociology every B.A. course has its advantage some subjects can be taken for upsc preparation including sociology.

For phisics student here is a good interface for education. Teachers are nice. Also here is a lab for practice practical works. Lab attendant is also available here to help students. But some equipments of the lab are too old that does not work correctly.

The way it intrigues my knowledge about our society and the factors behind it . The course gives us good amount if insights towards the real world and how it functions and how it became the society it is now.

I choose this course because I have some interest in politics.i want to become a strong political leader. In our Medinipur college there are about 17 teacher in our political department.our teachers are very responsible about our study.they help us in every critical situation.most of the teacher gained Phd in political science.

I want to choose English honours because I want to acuire knowledge about History of english literature.our sir were very sincere about our study.There are about 10 teacher to control our department.In our department there are probably 140 students in our english literature.

My choice of course was b.a education honours because this subject is vary interesting to me. All the faculty members in my department are well educated and they are all NET qualified. their teaching method is so beautiful. this subject all examination is slightly hard.

I think this course will bright my future so I am interested. the teacher to students ratio is 1:10.the faculties are well qualified and there teaching skill is very good.the exams are taken in 6months and the exam is easy to pass

I choose the course because I love the subject, English very much from my childhood to the extreme and secondly I had a desire to become a scholar of English literature. That's why I choose the course. The all 6 faculties of my department were very good there. They were very affectionate towards us and used to get us engaged to our lessons. The faculties were very much educated and they were very friendly. So, the communication between we and the faculties became very smooth. There were 2 internal exams and a end sem examination each semester. There were total 6 semesters in our course.
