Jogamaya Devi college Kolkata Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I choose this course because it helps us to understand animals, wildlife, environment and ourselves. At present we have 6 professors and 35 students. They all have masters and few of them did phd. Profs are really good,attentive towards everyone . We have 6 semesters and its kinda difficult.

Our Jogamaya Devi College offers very fewer placements. My batch didn't get any placement. After B.Sc with Chemistry you can go for M.Sc then PhD (academic). You will also get a job in ONGC, IOCL as a chemist after clearing the gate.

As I am a girl,a girl college is always suitable for me. And also I want to give my time in study so that's why I choose morning college. This is the best college for girls 1. Very safe. 2. All requirements are available here. 3. The staff and teachers are very helpful. 4. And most important is the quality of education, which is great here. Back log- 1. No proper canteen. 2. My college situated beside the main road so the vehicle horn is a major issues.

It's Morning College, that's the main reason I took admission over here.And then transport availability.Though it's morning college but generally the classes helds around 8 a.m.sometimes 9.30, (basically I'm not a early riser,but I have other works to do,and after getting back home I have times to study or to do other things.so I had to chose morning college). that's it.

In every practical subject lab work is the most important which depends on the department and faculty, from year to year many seniors of my school are admitted in this college, and they say that the department of Geography of Asutosh college morning ( Jogomaya Devi college) is equally as good as the other department, mostly the behavior of the teachers are very friendly and they are very helpful to their student, politics is no longer a problem here and this is a morning period base so I have a lot of time during the day, there are also a benefits cause the college is situated near my house time is not wasted to coming and going, According all these reason I choose the college.

It is one of the oldest and leading women's college in Kolkata. It is a morning college so one can avoid pollution and traffic congestion. It is a walk of 10 minutes from my house. Moreover it is affiliated to the University of Calcutta.

I want to grow my career in a good way,it is a fun learning entertainment,teachers are very goo helpful hardworking faculty is amazing,we came to learn about different things good friends family like.

Teachers in our college are very helpful and qualified. They are PhD holders. If I need any kind of help, then they will help me. Teachers always prepare us. The course curriculum is relevant. If students are pursuing this course, then they can opt for masters and then for PhD to gain knowledge about applied physiology.

Its a definitely good college for women's and girls, the circumstances is very good for education, every department is very good except botany department. So be altert. And this college hold so many popular aluminum as well as hounarable Cm of west bengal Mamata banerjee.

Other than the early morning classes I haven't come across any bad reviews about this college. It was and still is one of the oldest and prestigious colleges in Kolkata.
