Some placements are given in the last year of the college but only some students who are in urgent need of it took it as for others no one actually apply for placement as the average yearly salary is too low and its not sufficient. Only small companies are coming to offered placement so it's also equal to no placement

State Institute of Hotel Management - [IHM] conducts its own Entrance examination and based on performance in that exam students are admitted.I have always dreamt of working in some renowned hotel chain and thus a B.Sc in Hospitality and Hotel Administration from a reputed college like State Institute of Hotel Management - [IHM] was my ultimate choice.I cracked the entrance exam in my very first attempt.Though the institute conducts interview prior to admission but your scores in the entrance examination decides the admission.
Candidates can apply offline for all the courses offered by IHM. For B.Sc. in Hospitality & Hotel Administration, the candidate must have passed 10+2 with 50% marks along with English as a compulsory subject. Admission is granted on the basis of performance in National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology Joint Entrance Exam (NCHMCT JEE).
