- Applications are invited for admission to PhD Programs (Regular Mode) at IGNOU for the July 2024 Session. Aspirants can apply through the university’s samarth portal (ignouadm.samarth.edu.in) till Nov 19, 2024.
State Institute of Hotel Management, Rohtak commonly referred as IHM Rohtak offers B.Sc and Diploma Courses in hotel management. Programs are offered in association with the National Council for Hotel Management and the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU).
For such programs, applications for admission will be available online and offline. SIHM conducts the admission on the basis of-
- Admission to the B.Sc. program is regulated by NCHMCT and is done on the basis of the national level entrance test NCHMCT JEE followed by the interview.
- The counselling is through NCHMCT JEE Counselling for B.Sc. applicants.
- Admission to the 1 and a half year diploma course is regulated by the institute itself based on previous qualifying exam marks.
IHM Rohtak was established in 2009, and is an autonomous body under the Department of Tourism approved by Govt. of Haryana. It is also a Registered Society and is affiliated to the National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology (NCHMCT).
The institute has been ranked in the #19 position by the NIRF 2019.
Placement statistics for 2019 show that a total of 86 students were placed out of which 65 were positioned as Management Trainees and 21 as Supervisors.
The average salary package offered to the Management Training Students was INR 20,000-28,000 per annum and the Supervisor position was INR 15,000-20,000 per annum.

Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum qualification for admission in B.Sc program is that the candidates should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with English as a compulsory subject.
- The upper age limit of candidates of General and OBC category is 25 years and for ST and SC is 28 years.
- Candidates must produce a valid physical fitness certificate from a Registered Medical Practitioner.
Selection Criteria
- Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of the cut-off marks obtained in NCHMCT JEE entrance exam.
- Candidates will have to undergo a Personal Interview conducted by the institute to determine the interactive ability and general awareness of the candidate.
- Interview and Entrance exam marks will be combined to finalize the selection list.

- Enter the personal, academic details and upload Scanned Images of Candidate’s Photograph and Signature.
- Pay the application fee through Debit card/Credit card/Net banking/UPI/PAYTM by following the online instructions.
- After successful payment, print the Confirmation Page and keep it for future reference.
- Candidates can download the Admission Application form from the official institute website.
- Send the duly filled application form to Principal of the institute along with a fee of INR 400 through Demand Draft drawn in favor of “Principal, State Institute of Hotel Management, Rohtak payable at Rohtak.”

This college has a top name in rohtak for its course that I have choosed so I came to took admission in this college. I have never been rejected to any other college or courses .It was also near my house and the best among them so I chose this for my further study and course Admission process is simple you need to have an average of 70% in your 12th class that is needed.

Student needs to 12 th pass from eqeilent board After that the needs to pass nchmct jee exam which were held in july They will get fix addmission in ihms The exam level is good like they need to prepare for basics

The admission process is simple there is no entrance exam for diploma students. You will easily get your seat. And they provide lunch in your collage timing. They take minimal charges and gives practical uniforms like chef coat and Accessories. All teacher are very polite and helpful. They never disappoint you. Easy placement according to your strength.

The admission process is quite easy and simple. Eligibility is 10+2 from any recognised board with 50% marks. You have to apply at the NCHMCT portal. The application form costs around 1000-1500. NCHMCT conducts an entrance exam and on the basis of ranks, students get admission in different colleges. After that, colleges conducts orientation programs for the students.

Good college for doing hotel management and placements are fine. The locality of college is very good there is the city zoo and Tilyar lake near the college. And this college is placed in the outer city so no congested area is there. Good connectivity to Delhi and other famous cities.

Admission is done as per rank. The college faculty was very friendly and helpful.they support me a lot. admissions date officially come by nchmct. You have given the nchmct entrance exam and as per your rank the college is allowed to you as per your choice once you get a seat in that college then you have to go for counselling where your all documents are verified. then take all these same documents to the college for physical reporting in the college. then if you want a hostel then submit the fees of 1st semester and hostel as well and go to the college hostel one day before the classes began.

The thing about my college. Location is a very nice and peaceful lot of greenery. Faculty's perfect teacher. Infrastructure is perfect according to year wise class and labs. Admission process, you can give nchmt jee or by state quota of applicable in the college.
