Best faculty and best and experience staff and highly knowledgeable and they have were good experience about hotel industry and they are best in their field and there subject all staff are highly qualified and good
College is government institute so the facilities they are providing is best and the thing are used in class for like kitchen and all the department are also high class and the college repetition is also good and the value of degree is also increased
The college is located in shimla so students get also good knowledge about tourism and there is also so many companies and hotel are coming here for placement so students get best placement and also they got good package also

Dislikes

College is located in shimla so many time college is closed due to weather conditions but online classes are going so it will manage
Climatic conditions is the worst part here so many time students are ill and not feeling good in this weather conditions
Transport facility are also not good due to hill area and not opportunity for students due to hill area

Admission:

Basically i selected in my other ihm college and lnipe that is basically a physical education college and i choose this college is because first a fall it is a come in top 10 college in india of hotel management and the facilities and faculty both are best of this college and i like mountains that's why I come here No I don't reject in any college i give two exam after 12 first is nchmtc jee that is basically for hotel management and second is cuet for lnipe college that is for physical education and I selected in both the college Basically the selection process of my college is with only one exam that is nchmtc jee that is happening every year first you have to fill the form online and after that you have give the basic test that is computer based test that is off 700 marks and in this paper is divided into 3 part first is general abilities second is maths and third is english and basic releted to hotel management and the basic cut off is 350 + marks after that you have to select the college that you have to join and individual cut off is out by the college for admission And after all of this college select you according to your percentage and then you have to submit your documents and medical and then you are selected

I left the internship as it was way too much hectic for me

Likes

The things i like about this college is that students gets much more comfortable environment when it comes to attendance because no strictness is there related to your attendance
Second point is every student gets free lunch everyday at college doesn't matter if you are a day scholar or hosteller
Third point is that you don't have to attend the theory classes i never attended one in my whole course and if you are smart enough to pass the exams without attending classes like me then this college is going to be the best for you.

Dislikes

Some teachers are way too much cruel and abusive as they doesn't care if or what you do they'll beat you for no reason sometimes as some of them
Second we have that teachers discriminate the students based on their educational and sometimes caste or skin colour too
Teachers will fail you if they don't like you that's it

Admission:

The college is flexible with almost 30-40% of your activities, so yeah that's good and also if you are not the one who likes to be stuck in a schedule of college and want to hang out so this place will help you join.

The beautiful college across mountains

Likes

There are a lot of cultural program that held in our college which is really good
The atmosphere and climate is also good over here clean and healthy environment
The faculty of our college is very helpful and provide Every help needed.

Dislikes

The canteen should have more food items. The food should be much better
There is no good market near college and thus it sometimes create problems

Admission:

According to my rank this is one of the best college to do HM as they have experienced staff and also it ranks 13 amongst the other IHM in India which is the best part and it provides almost 100 percent placements. Again it is beneficial for the students

Pros and cons for taking admission in ihm shimla

Likes

Staff members and faculty is very supportive and .
they provides every facilities whenever needed
Clean and green area. Attraction towards nature

Dislikes

Timing of buses at night it's a big problem to travel
In winters when snowfall happen lot of scarcity of water and electricity happens
Hostel mess food is not so good so you should be prepared when coming to ihm shimla

Admission:

10+2 people with above 50 percentage can apply for it. And for institute of hotel management shimla they have open direct addmission for the people who didn't get the opportunity to complete their degree. The exam was not too hard in ihm shimla you'll get admission easily so it's a good opportunity.

Likes

The atmosphere and the greenery and the infrastucture.
The teachers are quite good they help you in every thing possible.

Dislikes

The admission process is quite difficult.
The hostel fees is not affordable it is around 60 thousand for 1 term

Admission:

To get admission in this college you need to have a pass certificate of your higher secondary examination or any other equivalent examination from a recognized board with english as compulsory subject. The admission process is basically very easy. The students must not be more than 22 years old while applying for the course.
