State Institute of Hotel Management Indore Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I had opted HM industry to pursue a career in the kitchen departement but during my industrial training I started gaining interest in the front office department. To be honest 80% of the cource that you study in your college will not be useful in the hotel industry because every hotel has their own standards.Teaching methods in the college can be improved.

in 5th semester we need to submit our CV to the respected faculty who is incharge of placements, in 6th semester placements start taking place and hotels and retail sector starts the interview for hiring . 350000 is the mininmum package per year which our college provide.

From 5th Semester Student are eligible for campus placements. Companies like Haldiram Bicano Pizza hut macdonald Taco bell reliance Marriott hotels etc. Average package students get 2-3lakh approx. The highest package 4lakh for MT Students Placed in Taj or Oberoi. . 70-80% Students placed in college campus. Plans getting a job.

The placement of the college is 100% and the student from the 5th semester is eligible for the campus placement. the highest and average package is between 3-5 lakh. My plan after getting the degree is to work abroad.

Placements are provided on time by the college in the final year. The hotel companies like sayaji, taj, Oberoi, etc, and other companies like taco bell, reliance, etc also visit year after year. The package varies according to the job positions like management trainees, operational trainees, and entry-level.

The placement of the college is very good as I expect. My, some seniors are going abroad for placements. there are many companies offering placements like Taj, Marriot, Hyatt, Oberoi, Radisson, Macdonald, etc.

We have campus placement in the 6th semester. We have TAJ HOTELS, SAYAJI, MARRIOTT ETC. And some retail companies like taco bell, reliance, Domino, mc Donald's. 99% of students are placed by our college. After graduating I want to join the industry.

The college provides campus interviews in third year. Hotels, Retails, Fast food chains and related companies come to college for recruitment process every year for final year students and offer different level programs.

I did choose this career because it has a large no. of opportunities also you can learn here about how to start and develop your own business. They teach you about entrepreneurship also, and the faculty here is also great and very helpful. the exams were quite difficult to pass
