My life at State institute of hotel management, indore

Likes

the method of learning which includes both practical as well as theoretical based learning which helps in grasping a lot of skills knowledge and attitude
the college has a acquired skilled faculty to pertain knowledge to its students in all departments
the food provided by the college is highly nutritious and filling throughout the day

Dislikes

the college being a government college has a high amount of fees as compared to private colleges

Internships Opportunities:

There are different companies who approach for theb placements and internship, we have wide range of choices in which we can select the city like Hotel Taj, The Leela Palace, Trident , Barbeque nation etc.

Best View College.

Likes

The best part is the college is located on the hills.The view of thr college is best.
The faculties was too good and supportive. They take care like a father or mother.
The college atmosphere was too good.The food is also very nice. Every one support there

Dislikes

The placement part is Not much good. No big companies are there
The warden of the hostel and cook is not good in behaviour
Few Faculties are not upto the mark on their professional.

Internships Opportunities:

Yes they provide internship oppurtunity in the college. Marriot Group, Taj Group,Oberoi Group , Hyatt regency these are the hotels provide internship in the college in different location It is mandotory in 3rd semester to done the industrial training or intership. They offered stipend also on monthly basis

Amazing experience.

Likes

I like my classrooms because there is peace that I like so much.
I like the entrance of my collage ...........
I like the faculties cause their teaching methods are good enough.

Dislikes

I don't like the outing rules of boys hostel.
I don't like to argue with guards at the time of outing.
I don't like the cafeteria's entrance cause the doors are too big.

Names of companies. 1. TAJ 2.MARRIOT 3.SHEREATON 4. THE OBEROI 5.THE LEELA 6.OYO 7.ITC MAUYRA 8.LEMON TREE 9.THE ESSENTIA 10. THE WOW BY TAJ I don't know about projects and tasks that's why I can't mention.

The campus life is normal but its so much fun in college.
The faculty is also good and experienced of college
The placement is normal but good of college.

The internship is provided by the college. Many companies visit colleges for students to choose an internship. Some companies are ITC, TAJ, MARRIOT, etc. The internship is to learn something that help my future planning.

My overall experience in the college is very good
The things that i like is the teaching idea of the teachers.
This course is totally based on the practical .

Internships Opportunities:

The companies that came for the internship are Rambagh Palace, a Taj Hotel, Radisson, etc. The internship is based on the interview taken by the hotel after which they selected student for the internship in their hotel.

Placements are provided on time by the college in the final year. The hotel companies like sayaji, taj, Oberoi, etc, and other companies like taco bell, reliance, etc also visit year after year. The package varies according to the job positions like management trainees, operational trainees, and entry-level.

In the B.Sc. course, they provide us with a 4-month training to our preferential cities. We are trained in all 4 different fields helping us choose the field we prefer. In Madhya Pradesh, I feel Indore is one of the options to study and go abroad.

Internships Opportunities:

In the second year, industrial training is compulsory. The internship period is of 4 months For the internship we have taj, Marriott, Oberoi, sayaji, etc. We have to work under the 4 major departments of the hotel.
