OCT Bhopal is outstanding!!

Likes

For the students who work hard will find placements quite good as they are actually quite good.
Fabulous faculties as they are approachable even after the classes.
Decent Jee scorers are given admissions so student quality is quite good.

Dislikes

Well the most worst uniform ever and plus we have to wear it quite often as well.

Jee scores as rankers between 30 to 50k are wlecomed here with open arms. So, on that basis and even the state entrance both are fine. For CSE though, in the bracket that is decided, the top end is reserved for CSE students. Also, our college doesnt have that many branches alright. So for average students this college is perfect.

Likes

The environment of college campus was quite good and approachable
Teachers were very helpful and friendly.
Placement are quite good if you are good.

Dislikes

Timing was very long so we don't got enough time for ourselves
Dress was quite bad so it was quite uncomfortable
Management is not good at all and they charge heavy fees

Admission:

I applied in Technocrats institution but I found Oriental college more good than TIT . I got selected through JEE exams . No, I didn't got rejected from any college before. The placement rate is good here and higher than TIT.

Likes

Environment is too friendly and the professors are too supportive as well
They have excellence in CRT . They have a great connection with the recruiters as well
Fests provides by the college is too good

Dislikes

Fees structure is not good . There is only two instalment are available
Books in the library are not in good condition.
Most of the labs are not well maintained

I choose this college because of my low JEE rank . I was able to clear their cutoff only . And I didnt wanted to compromise with the branch . That's why I choose this college for pursuing my btech . Otherwise I was also eleigible for other good colleges but not getting the proper branch

I feel good, and along with that, the behavior of the teachers towards the students is also quite nice. All the teachers speak politely with everyone.
The college has a proper dress code that students follow, and they also adhere to the rules and regulations. I liked this because it maintains discipline.
I also liked this. The faculty teaches well, the study environment is good, and both girls and boys are treated equally.

Dislikes

The campus is built in a very small area; it is not a big college. It is also quite dirty, and it seems like it hasn't been maintained for a long time. The college campus feels very congested and small.
Some toilets have no glass, some have broken window panes, and some are completely damaged. Proper cleanliness is also not maintained, and the toilets remain quite dirty and broken. I did not like the toilets there.
The sports room is just there for show; it is not used for anything. No sports events are ever organized, and if you ask for any equipment from the sports room, they don’t provide it. They also don’t offer any equipment for playing. This was disappoi

I chose this college because I wasn’t getting admission anywhere else. I wanted to get into lnct, but my JEE Main score wasn’t high enough for admission there. So, I had no choice but to take admission in this college. Apart from lnct, this is the only good college in Bhopal; the rest are not up to the mark. I have also heard from many people that in Bhopal, only lnct and Intel are considered good colleges.

It was a big campus, and bus facilities were connecting almost whole city and even sehore, they were building a school as well and canteen were very nic
Sports team was there for every sports almost
Teachers were educated no cheating of any type was allowed

Dislikes

We cannot go out for any reason during whole day
90% attendance was mandatory and adherence was also important
Hostel people were dominating all the time in sports selection

Admission:

So basically there are only 2 top two college's for engineering first is lnct and 2 is Oriental although number of students is to company ratio in my opinion was way less as compared to Oriental therefore, I chose oreintal college of technology

College environment is good for studies proper lectures are there
There are qualified teachers mostly teachers are doing there P.H.D
There career guidenence is very good they support us

Dislikes

The bad thing of this college is they want fees within 1 week of semester start
It put fine on fees 20 rupees per day it became very large amount
No proper timings of bus and there is no fixbus for any route it changes daily

Admission:

Yes I applied in lnct but there are limited seats in it so I can't get seat there and here I get seat we hav two ways of addmission here by mpdte counciling and choice filling or by direct addmission if we take direct addmission then we have to pay 5000 in college

No better clubs or anything for activity

I took this college for 2 reason other college were more expensive and it's not worth to do btech cse cy in private cllg with 1.50l fees per year which can't give me placement of 1.50 lpa i think so and other reason my friends were coming here but now they are not my friends so don't go anywhere with your friends because after a time they will definately leave you for girls
