Navigating through MBBS

Likes

I like the surroundings! It was away from the main city and hence peaceful
It is a New building and hence beautiful
Hostel and college are near to each other

Dislikes

Hospital is quite away and hence difficult for students
Hostel in-timing is 9:30 which is quite early
Teachers quarters and students hostel in the same area

Admission:

This college has a fully functional skills lab which is the one and only skills lab of chhattisgarh!! We also have a virology lab here!! I got this college through NEET exam through counselling process!! The cut off for general students this year was around 609

Very good management and awesome faculties
Well developed infrastructure , good exposure to every case
Good academics and well developed structure for students to thrive for excellence

This is the only college i wanted all along , as it has a good infrastructre and excellent faculties with way better acadamics compared to any other medical college in chhattisgarh. This college have faculties for every subjects

College, Hostel, Campus Review of Government medical college, Ambikapur

Likes

It's a government owned medical collge for MBBS and postgraduation course for now. Hostels are well designed 3 floored hostels with proper light and water facility negative point about hostels are they are not installed with a lift but can be managed
Campus structure - this college has 3 seperate campus accounting total area of 53 acres but only one of 3 campuses is functional other 2 are abandond and locked the main campus contaion a fuctional college buildings , hostels and staff quarter
Campus is not well designed no proper ground and campus hospital is still under construction so med students are posted for their clinical postings to district hospital which has a good patient inlow, professors are well educated friendly and helpull

Dislikes

Campus is not installed with proper ground, only 2 badminton court and 1 volleyball court is provied and 2 table tennis tables are given in hostel which is a bad sign .
Cadaver ( dead boy which 1st year med studets discet to learn anatomy) provied is only 3 per 125 students till 2023 batch which must be atleast 5
Campus hospital is still under construction as this college is established in year 2016 the hospital building must be running till now

Admission:

Eligibility of course is 12th pass with at least PCB. To apply for the course a student must appear in the NEET exam and based on rank in the exam respective college will be allowed. During my admission the 2022 session cut-off for all India quota was around 21000 India rank ( as I got this college through all India quota) Form for NEET comes every year around February and the exam will be conducted around the first week of May at all India levels. during the counselling process fee detail of the college was addressed. After allotment admission process was quite simple faculties helped a lot during admission.

Likes

Clean and new hostels were provided to us which was great.
Sanitation is top notch, especially in the bathrooms and corridors.
Decent patient inflow in the hospital so med students get enough patient exposure to learn properly.

Dislikes

No recreational facilities. There is not even a proper field/ ground.
The administration is not supportive for sports and fests.
The college campus is far from the main city, so its tedious to go to the main city for even the smallest of the things.

Admission:

Admission into the government medical colleges is through NEET examinati which is a national level examination. No other entrance examination is held or required. The document verification process lasted an entire day and was tedious. But could have taken even if it were not for the swiftness of the staff.

Likes

I like the people around here they are very helping and kind
The location is beautiful and amazing there is greenery everywhere
The food in this city is good and i love roaming here

Dislikes

The schedule is verry busy so i have less time for my personal
This location is far from the city so there is less convienence
The food that is prepared i. The messs is bad and i dont have a personal liking towards it

Admission:

The students have to clear 12 exam Then they have to give NEET entrance exam The student must get minimum cut off no. To get selected in college Then the have to wait for around 1 month Then they have to fill counseling form

A view in internship

Likes

The things i love here is that it is far away from my home but i sometimes remember my home
The people here are supportive and helping in nature
The infrastructure is good and this is near a village so the pollution is less

Dislikes

I have disliked the food in the mess sometimes
It is far away from city so to chill we have to go far from here
The course is too hectic i find it hard sometimes

Admission:

Eligible students have to be 12 pass .Students have to score a minimum no. To clear the cut off . When students had given the exam they will have to wait for around 1-2 months .after that they wiil have to fill counselling form and proceed further
