Navigating Medical School: A Comprehensive Review

Likes

Teaching faculty is impressive, teaching staff are more friendly engaged with the students.
The teaching methods are up to date and includes latest projector enabled digital learning
The campus location is quite impressive and is placed in silent location which helps us to study properly without any disturbances.

Dislikes

The hostel infrastructure is very poor and needs to be improved
The road from college to hostel is very underated and needs to be improved
The social gathering is not so good and needs to be taken seriously and sincerely

Internships Opportunities:

The internship is the part of the MBBS course and one gets elegible for internship when he clears his final year exams. One has to do internship from the college from where he passed the final year exams. After the completion of the internship for one year long, a student gets his degree for MBBS and is elegible to get in PG degree and also he/she can now work as junior doctor (JR- junior resident) or can work as medical officer from any hospital.

The campus space is really big and the infrastructure is also up to the mark, it wouldn't be wrong to call it the best in chhattisgarh and the hostel is also far better than other colleges in CG, spacious and clean.
Once you figure out a way to set a routine, you don't have to put in a lot of work to clear exams. The timings are also easier in this college than most. The classes start at 9 and end at 4.
You don't have to buy super expensive books, just show respect to your seniors and they'll help you out. They'll even help you make the best out of the vast number of resources available and will teach you how to have fun.

Dislikes

The toilets of the college buildings are broken and mostly non functional, which is a huge turn off. Most of the ACs in the lecture halls are broken as well.
Getting optimum Nutrition from food as a hosteller is a tough job, especially if you're in first year you aren't allowed vehicles so it can be hard to go out to get stuff for projects etc.

Internships Opportunities:

As an intern you have to practice basic clinical examinations with real patients, guide them through each process and tests and prescribe basic medication under the supervision of an attending doctor. The workload is intense. You have no time for yourself. It's practicing for long endless shifts and still being active throughout. That's the life of a doctor. After that you can get a letter of recommendation to help with further placements.

Hostel situation in peaceful environment
Having it's own building and auditorium.
A well trained faculties special clinical subjects.

Dislikes

Away from city, not well connected to city
City is not so attractive for visiting .
Have to go city for every day requirement things.

Internships Opportunities:

Internship for one year. Getting an amount of 12500 every month for one year. Have to give rural service for two years in Chhattisgarh. Regular CME for the interns for further teaching by faculties. Having regular coordination with other facilities.

Internships Opportunities:

since it is govt college it is compulsory for every student to do an internship in the govt hospital of raj and gaon so as to gain experience and on hand skills. the role of doctor intern is given to them as per their specialization. the stipend provided is around 13000 INR. there are no such projects in the college the student just has to attend to the patient with medical problems and satisfy their needs.
