The internship is the part of the MBBS course and one gets elegible for internship when he clears his final year exams. One has to do internship from the college from where he passed the final year exams.
After the completion of the internship for one year long, a student gets his degree for MBBS and is elegible to get in PG degree and also he/she can now work as junior doctor (JR- junior resident) or can work as medical officer from any hospital.
As an intern you have to practice basic clinical examinations with real patients, guide them through each process and tests and prescribe basic medication under the supervision of an attending doctor. The workload is intense. You have no time for yourself. It's practicing for long endless shifts and still being active throughout. That's the life of a doctor. After that you can get a letter of recommendation to help with further placements.
Internship for one year.
Getting an amount of 12500 every month for one year.
Have to give rural service for two years in Chhattisgarh.
Regular CME for the interns for further teaching by faculties.
Having regular coordination with other facilities.
since it is govt college it is compulsory for every student to do an internship in the govt hospital of raj and gaon so as to gain experience and on hand skills. the role of doctor intern is given to them as per their specialization. the stipend provided is around 13000 INR. there are no such projects in the college the student just has to attend to the patient with medical problems and satisfy their needs.
