Likes

Good teaching and proper provision of educational materials.
There is a college fest every year and you can enjoy your college life
Safe environment is also present.. clinical exposure is also very good

Dislikes

Its distant from main city and the area is quite uneasy to go out
No extra support is given for extra curricular activities
Very strict teachers are present and you can to be update in every aspect

Placement Experience:

They completely provide intership which you can freely go opt and work in any SDM institution in Karnataka. And get well experienced due to good patient flow . My plan is to work in good hospital and later be self reliant.

Overall college is best

Likes

I like the sports cultural events in our college
I like our college campus it is very clean
I like our college samhita vana garden as here so many trees plants are there

Dislikes

I didn't like the behaviour of admission cell they are rude with students
I didn't like the mess food as they are repeating same food daily we often get bored and we end up ordering food from outside
Here in our college the rules are very much strict even hostel warden

Course Curriculum Overview:

Here to be honest In terms of studies and theoritical and practical knowledge our college is best college in Karnataka in our curriculum as I mentioned that we have periodic assessment and term exam almost 50%of preparation will be done at that time only only last 2 months for University exam is for revision as here they conduct exams even class test in a very strict manner no copy nothing they alot mentors for students weekly once the students have to meet their respective mentors at particular date mentors will listen their doubt clarify doubts they will assign other work also

All the classrooms have smart board. We have anatomage table also. Teachers are very helping. They always help us during exams. It is very strict college. College faculties are good. They are very supportive and helping. Labs are also very good.
We have 2 dissection bodies per class. Very good facilities are there. Physiology labs have almost all the instruments and equipments. We can go and ask teachers for help anytime. Hostels are very clean.
Our college has good classes. Playground is good. Hostels are very nice with well equipped furniture and all the facilities. Hospital is very good with good patient flow. Almost 200-300 patients come daily to the hospital.

Dislikes

College is very strict and disciplind. We can't bunk classes and sit. Monthly basis tests held..campus size is so small. No social life is there. If you are coming from north you have to learn kannada.
Teachers are behaving like a kids here. They think we are in school. Very strict warden. No outings on Weekdays. Sundays are allowed to go till 4pm you have to come back to hostel. Mess food is not good that much.
Very strict marking system is there. You have to study for getting pass in examination. Dress code is strictly followed by all the students. Hostels are very strict. They increase mess fees when they want.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Ayurveda nowadays very growing course. Everyone choosing ayurvedic medicines on allopathy. Ayurveda acts on root causes. So there is no chance of recurring of disease again. And allopathic medicines have more side effects. They offer symptomatic treatment. Teachers should give somewhat independance to students. They should understand that we are grown up now. We will do our work. Exams are quite difficult here. They held on a regular basis.

The campus is very welcoming and quite vast, the atmosphere all around is tranquil
The infrastructure for an ayurvedic college in general isn’t really something we can expect a lot out of, but sdm has a good infra
The quality of teaching is also highly commendable.

Dislikes

The hostel facilities can be improvised to accommodate better
The mess food could use some improvement and hygiene

Course Curriculum Overview:

The relevance of a course which is "professional" can only be measured by how we put it into practice. The curriculum is well rounded and in a way indcludes practical and theoretical aspects of the subject well. There are periodical tests and assessments kept atleast monthly once if not more often, grading is done on the basis of how well the subject has been practically understood.

Likes

The strict and disciplined environment of the college makes a person capable to develop his personality to become a successful doctor in future
The patient out flow at hospital is more than sufficient for a person to learn clinical knowledge and developed his practical skills
The qualified and exta knowledgeable faculties at institute are well knowledgeable and experienced in this field and gives hands on training for Ayurveda

Dislikes

Number of holidays being given are comparatively less than other colleges and the number of assignments are more
The college is not having much rooms for accommodating many students
Food is good and you under test and qualities good but the variety is limited

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course of Ayurveda is highly demanding in the present Era as the people are living allopathic science and coming towards in natural way of healing which can cure the diseases from the root cause. the curriculum designed by ncism is meant to develop the overall skills of student and is highly practical based rather than the theory based on the timing of exams and all is properly scheduled and the level of difficulty depends on the teacher to teacher are the institution to institution

Campus is so good and clean and hygienic.
Faculties here are so supportive and helpful.

Dislikes

Campus is so small. They are so strict and they don't allow to go out except Sundays.
They won't allow you to go outside not even after our parents' permission.
No events organised by this college for students.

College and facilities are good. But environment is little bit depressing here.
Campus life is so so. Not so good. Very depressing environment. No such things to release stres.
All the things are good othen than that. Faculties are good. Very helpful and supportive.

Dislikes

Sometimes teachers are pressurizing students.
No events and all organised by this college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As nowadays ayurveda is growing. So its really a good course and a good future is there in this course. That's why i toook this course. exams are tough. They prepare you guys to get into this competitive world. All the things are good in itself. Teachers are the best here. They are very supportive and helping. Periodic tests held every 25 to 30 days. And semester exams held after every 6 months.
