Approximately 70-80% of MBBS students secure placements through long-term internships offered by the college. Internships are compulsory for one year following the completion of a four-and-a-half-year course. The Government of Karnataka provides a stipend of around Rs. 20,000 per month. Students have the option to pursue government or private sector roles, establish their own clinics, or continue with postgraduate studies.
The college is associated with a 350-bed hospital, enhancing placement opportunities. The stipend for internships can vary slightly, ranging from Rs. 28,000 to Rs. 31,000 per month based on the number of working days.
