Life At St.JOSEPH'S

Likes

Food is very good and we can get juice,egg puffs,cream buns for 5rs

Dislikes

rules are very strict like shave beard wear tie and wear formal dress

Admission:

During my timse of admission this college was on the top list in getting placements for the students so i gave a try to this college and got a seat in merit category compared to other college my college is good in placements and food

Likes

The atmosphere, the faculties,the concept of trinity campus.
The food variety and balanced meal including special meals was lovely
Its an ecocampus,the events the conduct,the cultural fests and events

Dislikes

The extra classes to improve our coding skills.
The xerox shops didnot function properly and the last minute details of certain events.
There is no college tour and farewell for graduates.

I applied to mostly tier 1 and tier 2 colleges. The common mistake i did was to focus on department rather than the fame of college. I choose to apply to only computer science and information technology. If i had focused a little on the college rather than the department i could have got through anna university or MIT. Those government colleges provide you with various connections and resources for self development.Everything will be at your will and at your pace. Our college has a custom rule that each of us has to follow so the concept of freedom cuts off here. Things are spoonfed here.You donot get much exposure. I chose this college for its facilities,the concept of food then transportation was a greater relief to my parents and the history of placements and discipline is a record.

Likes

No strict staff in our college everyone has friendly
They conduct culturals, hostelday, freshersday,dj party also good
Infrastructure is good . environment is also good

Dislikes

Collecting money for symbosium and workshop
Morning test they will conduct of we fail after 3 pm we sit and write retest
Everyday evening one and half hours study conducted in the hostel

Admission:

I will choose this college during the tnea counseling period the college was confirmed so I have no other options so I will joined this college. This college hasn't conduct the eligibility exam everyone choose this college using counseling or management quota.Admission process is easy

Hostel food is the worst thing in the college
Doesn't allowing students to enter into college without paying fees

Admission:

It depends on the tnea counselling done by Tamilnadu government .The minimum cut off is above 140.It is a tier 3 college .The management quota is also open for students when the board exam results are published.

The college of Appreciation.

Likes

The environment , staffs and food provided by the college are awesome.
The Placement where conducted in a perfect direction and they given adequate training for the Placements.
The infrastructure in the campus is quiet good, it is very silent and gives peace of mind throughout the college life.

Dislikes

The college has more rules like complusory to use clg buses, and many more.
during even semester the lunch provided very late for particular departments.

Admission:

The Admission process was went very well. I attended the counselling conducted by the Anna University where I got admission in this college.. Where before admission they given a breif note about the college . the staffs associated in admission process are guided as very well. The Reservation benefits are maintained perfectly through out the course.

Likes

Faculties are well educated and PHD graduates knowledgeable
Library is very useful and in good condition
College infrastructure is very nice especially cs department heaven

Dislikes

Canteen food snacks and drinks are costlier
College is too long from my place so I facing some difficulties coming to college
Lab instructor and non teaching staff and worst in behaviour

Admission:

The students should be 12 graduate and must studied about physics chemistry maths in 12 classes Application form is available in online offical website as well as offline and application for 2023 was in progress Good and very nice Admission office staffs are not able to manage students and their parents

I selected this college through counselling. Based on my cutoff from Plus 2 Exam, I was able to select this college. The admission process was very simple and easy. They just asked about the allotment order which you will get at the end of counselling and explained all the rules and regulations, college timings, food facilities, bus facilities, etc. There was no eligibility for me to choose the course as I already selected my course also during the counselling process. In reception, they'll tell you where the admission process is happening and staff will be there to guide you through the application process, fees, etc. I didn't avail of any reservation benefits.

Admission:

Cut-off should be 190 + then we can get any branches. Mostly IT, mechanical, ECE, EEE in need 190 + cut off. If biotech and chemical engineering mean 180 + cut-off needs. The total seat allocation for one branch is 180 seats. That 80 seats will be merit based on the cut-off, 100 seats based on donation. Donation costs Will change each other based on their cutoff.
