SJCE Chennai B.E./B.Tech. Eligibility Criteria

The candidate who wants admission must have cleared class + 2 or equivalent, as per norms and guidelines of the Government of Tamil Nadu/Anna University and AICTE for UG courses. with min. 50% marks are eligible to apply.

SJCE Chennai B.E./B.Tech. Selection Criteria

Candidates are selected on the basis of their performance in the HSC (+2) examination conducted by the state and through counselling (TNEA) conducted by Anna university Chennai.

SJCE offers a full-Time ME/M.Tech. course in various specializations. The program is offered in regular mode for 2 years having 18 seats in each.

SJCE Chennai M.E./M.Tech. Eligibility Criteria

As per norms and guidelines of the Government of Tamil Nadu/Anna University and AICTE for PG courses.

• Candidates for the admission to the first semester of the Master’s Degree Programme shall be required to have passed an appropriate U.G degree examination of Anna University or any other examination of any University or authority accepted by the Syndicate of Anna University as equivalent thereto
• Candidates will have to qualify GATE or entrance exam to secure admission.

SJCE Chennai M.E./M.Tech. Selection Criteria

• For admission in M.E./M.Tech courses, the candidate shall write an entrance examination designed to test the proficiency of the Candidate in the relevant branch of the UG Degree.
• It is not necessary to write the entrance examination if the Candidate has a GATE/GRE score or score in the examination conducted at All India Level by the constituent statutory authority.
• Admission to the M.E./M.Tech programs by the University shall be on the basis of marks in the qualifying examination and the performance of the prospective Candidate in the Entrance Test.
• Candidates are selected on the basis of their performance in the common entrance examination (TANCET) conducted by the state and selected candidates are allotted to various colleges for admission. Appearing for the entrance examination for these seats is a must and this entrance examination is conducted by the college on its campus.
• Candidates may also appear directly for admission to the College under Management Quota. Admission forms may be obtained from the college office.

SJCE offers management as a two and 5-year program as MBA and integrated MBA respectively with an intake of 120 students in MBA and 60 students in MBA integrated.

SJCE Chennai MBA Eligibility Criteria

MBA- Candidates have to clear graduation with min. 50% marks are eligible. Candidates will have to qualify the CAT exam to secure their admission.

MBA Integrated- The candidate who wants admission must have cleared class 10+2 or equivalent, as per norms and guidelines of the Government of Tamil Nadu/Anna University and AICTE for UG courses. with min. 45% marks are eligible to apply. Candidates will have to qualify the entrance exam TANCET 2024 to secure admission.

SJCE Chennai MBA Selection Criteria

• For admission in MBA, the candidates have to write an entrance examination designed to test the proficiency/aptitude of the Candidate on areas determined by the constituent statutory authority.
• Admission to the M.B.A Program by the University shall be on the basis of marks in the qualifying examination and the performance of the prospective Candidate in the Entrance Test, Group Discussion, and Interview.
• It is not necessary to write the entrance examination if the Candidate has CAT/TANCET score or score in the examination conducted at All India Level by a competent Authority.
