Muthayammal College of Engineering is a private engineering college located in Rasipuram, Tamil Nadu. It is ranked among one of the best engineering colleges in India. It is accredited by NBA & NAAC. Admission to the institute is done both on a merit basis. For admission into UG programs, 10+2 marks followed by TNEA counseling are taken into consideration. For PG programs, M.Tech candidates have to clear TANCET followed by TANCA counseling.

Following is the admission process needs to be followed by the students at Muthayammal College of Engineering:

Visit the official website of TNEA 2020. Click on the tab application form.
Enter your name,mobile number, email id, qualifying exam, Hsc Registration Number, Date of Birth and year of passing.
The password has to be generated yourselves.
You will have to submit the OTP which will be sent to the registered mobile number.
After the registration, login using the username and ID.
Upload all the required documents
The final step is to make the payment. One can pay using Netbanking, Credit/ Debit card.

As per the record provided by the Institute, more than 500 students were placed in the recent placement drive for 2019-20. Out of which, 50 students were placed in Wipro, 18 in Tata consultancy services, 49 students in Cognizant. More than 70 recruiters visited the college out of which 34 were core companies. A total of 52 campus drives took place at the college. The highest package offered to students was INR 10 LPA whereas the average package was INR 3.4 LPA. Extra circular should be provides and it is help full for the students.
The infrastructure is well-maintained, with well-equipped labs and a good library.

Likes

I liked my college infrastructure , classroom and laboratory facilities.
The college surrounding is also maintained neat and clean. The college canteen facilities are also good.

Dislikes

Some computer systems in the laboratory does not work properly. The management have to take action for this.
The support for extracurricular activities still need to be improved.

Admission:

The admission process is based on the TNEA Counselling process. The students having specific engineering cutoffs basically from 120 to 170 can get admission in this college via the TNEA counselling process. I selected this college in Counselling because this college has good teachers and good placement records. I did not applied to any other colleges.But I was expecting to get admission in Government Engineering college, Salem. Unfortunately my cutoffs is not enough to get admission there.

Yes, our college admission process was too good they took a cut above 70 percent, and there is don't have entrance exam they took based on the 12th(intermediate) exam mark and they check each subject mark mainly, hematic mats, physics, chemistry, and computer science.

Nice very much nice

Admission:

Eligibility of this course was 12th maths biology. And then we visit the college and find the application form. Application fees was 5000 and application dates for the new one of the year any of date. Yes the reservation benefit available. Which means government seets are free. I can see in the improvements in admission process so I don't think about it.

My college review

Admission:

The negative remark is that they won't provide us that much freedom as the other colleges provide. If we wanna go out we need permission and if we wanna take leave on a sick day also we need to get a sign in the letter and give it to the management and then only we can get rest or leave. If not we will be left by suffering. And the faculty also takes revange when the time comes for them to. In the end sem lab they might fail u if u didn't listen to them or make a move out of their boundary.
