Ambedkar Institute of Technology New Delhi Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Students are eligible from the 5th semester to sit in a placement. There are few companies that may visit or invite Ait. Somehow I got in Wipro. Campus placement is very poor or I can say nil. All you have to carry your skill and fate.

The college has its own placement cell that conducts interviews from various companies like Wipro, Deloitte, Tech Mahindra, Concentrics and gives students the opportunity to get placed in these well known companies. The percentage of students getting placed is quite low. The average package offered is 2L pa. Students can opt for higher studies after completing the course.

The exams are every 6 months and there is mid-semester internals. The exam is moderately difficult and everything is otherwise taught in class. To get the passing marks is not difficult but to score more than 90 percent you have to give in efforts

For students eligible for placements in or after the 5th semester, our college organizes pool placements where 2-4 college students come and companies like Deloitte , TCS, INFOSYS etc. They give package b/w 1.8 lakhs - 3.25 lakhs. There are some other small companies , but few students take participate in Placements most of them go for MCA. Like this year 6 students give Interview for Deloitte but 2 of them clear it.

My college is conducted good placements every year with a good and awesome package this is greater for students they can easily hire with the good opportunity 6 lakh per year is the maximum package for diploma students.

This college was earlier a polytechnic but from 2016 it is now a degree college as it also provide some degree courses also. I will prefer my college to those who wants to do Diploma Engineering especially in Instrumentation & Control because only few Delhi government colleges provide Diploma Engineering in Instrumentation & Control. It is best in this branch especially. The faculties are very good, very helpful, very skilled, educated, qualified and above all are very helpful and cooperative in nature. The admission process is very simple it Delhi govt. holds exam for Diploma Engineering and according to your rank and your preferences in the councilling the colleges are given. As we know there is the Covid situation currently so the placement facility is not good overall but if see the previous last 2 years 2019 batch students getting good placement from this college. Around 8 to 9 student get in the good placement of 25k. After pursuing my diploma in Computer engineering I go for the BTech option.

There are some not so big companies that do visit our college campus. Mostly Tech Mahindra is the one that selects students. Tata motors also visit our campus and the rest are just small startup companies. The highest package given is 3.5 lacs only till now. Around 30-40% of students actually get placements. If you want to pursue BCA or are pursuing BCA you should go for MCA too if you want a good package.

From last semester student become eligible for campus placement. Many companies visited like Wipro, Samsung, Haeir bajaj, jio. 50% of student got placement. My plan after getting a degree is to study further and find some part-time job.
