This college was earlier a polytechnic but from 2016 it is now a degree college as it also provide some degree courses also. I will prefer my college to those who wants to do Diploma Engineering especially in Instrumentation & Control because only few Delhi government colleges provide Diploma Engineering in Instrumentation & Control. It is best in this branch especially. The faculties are very good, very helpful, very skilled, educated, qualified and above all are very helpful and cooperative in nature. The admission process is very simple it Delhi govt. holds exam for Diploma Engineering and according to your rank and your preferences in the councilling the colleges are given. Instrumentation & Control Engineering is very good branch for going in Instrumentation and Processing power plants, oil refineries, automation systems and many more things are open to you after completing this course. This course is best of this college because of its faculty they are oustanding in their profession and of a very high standards that imparts a qualitative education to their students. As nearly everyone of them has passed from SSC examinations and had done from their education like Phd's and M.tech from very good intstitues like DTU etc.The faculty student ratio is around 1:10 but apart from this every teacher is very helpful and coordinative.The course is dived in three years, two semesters in a year and in each semester's they have two sessionals, whose marks are combined for score in final exams.

Yes, in the last semester it is mandatory for every student to do a mandatory internship, of which they also have add marks in the final semester's. I have done internship in some processing plant.In the last exam there is viva in which it will be asked about that internship and what they have learned.

There are college placements, students can apply in the last semester that is 6th semester. The highest package is 6 lacs and the average salary package is 1.8 lacsI think the best is to do b.tech after this course, you will get lateral entry in most of the colleges also you can do b.tech from DTU in lateral entry.

As Because this college is of Delhi government so the fees are very nominal of 10000 per year can be given in two installments one each in semester.There are scholarships for merit based and merit cum means based on your last examination passed.If you beling to any special quota you will have relaxations on fees and are many perks given by the institutes to such students.Campus placement is just okay in this institute there are many companies that hire students from placement cell, as I don't have applied for any because I had to study further, but if you are a good student you can get salary around 10k to 15k.

The campus life is good in this college. Students and seniors are very much friendly in nature and helpful. Annual fest occur in this college every year and it is quite exciting, students and teachers together combine to make a good fest it name changes every year so I can't name one. They usually held in Feb-Mar. The college library is vast home to a variety of books and paper etc. The classrooms are well furnished, the labs are well air-conditioned. The college has a very lush green environment. There is Sports Day in the college, variety of sports activities take place among the all departments.There are many social groups but you will know them once you will admitted there.

Unfortunately there is no hostel for the students, but you can rent a room near laxmi nagar or nirman vihar, as this college is nearby to Laxmi Nagar and Nirman Vihar, you will easily get a room for 4000-5000 rupee per month.

There are no interview or group discussion but there is only one entrance exam that is taken by CET Delhi.The entrance exam is not very difficult it is just normal if your basic is clear in 10th you can easily get a good rank for this college.
