Ques. What is the eligibility for ME (Structural Engineering) at PSG iTech?
Ans. Candidates must hold a BE/B.Tech in Civil Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% for reserved categories). A valid GATE (Civil Engineering) or TANCET (ME) score is required for government quota seats. Candidates without GATE/TANCET may apply for management quota seats.
Ques. What career options are available after ME (Structural Engineering) from PSG iTech?
Ans. ME (Structural Engineering) graduates can pursue careers as structural design engineers, project engineers, site engineers, and consultants in structural design firms, EPC companies, real estate developers, and government infrastructure organisations (PWD, CPWD, NHAI, etc.). ME (Structural Engineering) is a 2-year postgraduate specialisation focused exclusively on advanced structural analysis, design, and earthquake engineering. ME is suited for those who want to specialise in structural design and pursue research or senior design roles.
