Honest Review of NHITM

Likes

Infrastructure and cleanliness of college is good.
All the learning facilities are available like computer labs and library
Preety decent campus life. Enjoyable events and functions

Dislikes

Rarely seen anyone talking about placement and internship.
Faculty doesn't teach very well. Boring curriculum and syllabus.
Worst canteen food,No coding culture, no hostels facility, overall 75% attendance mandatory

Admission:

I applied for around 100 colleges this college was o 45th on list. I wasn't happy but I had to no other option. I wanted F.R. conceio rodrigues or Datta meghe college but it had higher cutoff. By scoring around 80 to 85 percentile in CET you can get into this college. It also accepts jee main students. Overall admission experience was smooth

They have a Huge campus, the building is connected with a school next to it, it is well maintained. They have lifts separately for students and teachers, they have a garden and a lot of pet animals like dogs, parrots and ducks

Dislikes

Teachers were rude and not supportive. They have PhDs but still they dont have the appropriate knowledge. They just keep ranting about how miserable their lives are and how they feel their salaries are low

Admission:

I chose that college because they claimed they were the best on their website and they showed their alumnis but they didnt tell us that the alumnis were already scholars. I got selected in Thakur college for EXTC but the crowd there was poor. I got VJTI too but again it was for EXTC and i didn't feel any scope there. And honestly my college dont have any eligibility criteria cuz it's empty. Even if you score low they will accept you by just asking for donation.

The practical approach to learning has a line perfectly with my career aspiration
The supportive environment combined with quality mentorship from faculty has significantly boosted my personal and academic growth

Dislikes

The gender ratio remain imbalanced with the significantly more boys than girls
Some teachers are so rude not all but definitely few of them
They give a lot of assignments for no reason and my college is very strict on attendance

Admission:

When I applied for colleges I was allotted New Horizon Institute of Technology and Management based on my mhtcet score I choose this college as it has better infrastructure and teaching standards compared to other colleges and it is also conveniently close to my home. I couldn't secure admission in other colleges because my mht CET score was not high enough to meet their cutoffs. The admission process in my college involves receiving a seat allotment message after reach student must visit the college with all necessary document and fees for category student additional documents like caste certificate and non creamy layer certificate also required.

All thing need improvement like there are zero in sport
Basically they need to change the teaching style
Infrastructure is good but still you get school wali wibe

Dislikes

Teaching Style of some teacher is worse than expected
College need to build hostel for student
And college is very strict about wtf they give

Admission:

Because my CET score is not well for other collage to get addmission and I have to leave my place for what ever happens to me . Process is same as other collages . Talking about cut-off, it's greater than 70 percentile

there are many good colleges under mumbai university and autonomous universities are also good but these college is near my home with good faulty and good campus. also classmates are very helpful and teachers are always ready to help

Everything you need to know about NHITM

Likes

The faculty is nice and very supportive and helpful
The cultural events and everything is carried out on a large basis
The overall campus and college is very good

Dislikes

The no of students is less so the college is a bit boring sometimes
There is a huge ground for the college but they don't permit to play us on the ground
Teachers teach well but sometimes they skip certain regardless of the students who understand the concept or not

Admission:

I chose NHITM because it aligned well with my academic goals, offered a cost-effective education, and allowed me to stay close to home. While colleges like SPIT and Somaiya offer better placements and infrastructure, NHITM is a good balance of quality education at an affordable cost, with moderate competition for placements. And it was the only college that I got listed on through MHCET as I got 83 percentile and didn't met the cut off for other colleges

A Day in New Horizon Institute of Technology and Management.

Likes

The college and management staffs are very well organized , it has a campus , looks and aroma of college is nice..
The teaching staffs are good. All teacher has minimum 3-15 years teaching experience.
Theory knowledge and practical knowledge are provided . Proper hygiene is there and medical emergencies / facilities are ready.

Dislikes

Speaking about Teaching staff , They majorly cover important topics first and then if they get time to cover rest of the topic then they will complete...
They are slow in teaching in the start and when the exam is about to commence then they teach in hurry..
Placement admin is not too good as few were for engineers and mostly companies came were for sales...

Admission:

Eligibility of course is 10th and 12th pass out ..Application form can be filled in the college campus itself or in the college official portal. it would take around 20- 30 minutes to fill the form. For TFWS students there are 3-4 seats allocated , the deciding parameter is your MH-CET percentile score , one with higher percentile will be selected .If someone gets selected then the fees for them is around 15k-20k... Talking about exams difficulty level is moderate . No need for improvement it can be done in half and hour ..

All about New horizon

Likes

The infrastructure of the college is very well and it has playground too.
Teachers are also good as they do not discriminate between students.
Due to various clubs, we get a chance to build our coding abilities.

Dislikes

The canteen foods are not good in sense of hygiene.
College also is a combination of school and degree college as a result there is so much rush.

Admission:

To get admission in new horizon, we have to give one of the entrance exam either mhtcet or jee or both.The application form can be filled from anywhere like cybercafe.The cutoff of the college is also nearly 87 percentile for the BE.

Sports activities,inter clg championship and techfest

Very strict for attendance and have lot of assignments.

Admission:

I am a computer engineering student I got 81 percentile in CET and I selected new horizon college of Engineering, Its structure is very good and placement is average 2-4 laks around and highest package is around 10lakhs.
