All about internships

Likes

The infrastructure is quite advanced with amenities like smart board and air conditioner
The overall growth through various programmes is massive whether it be cultural or sports there is scope for everything. The annual event is very happening
The support and teaching staff is very professional and supporting. The library has so many books. All the laboratories are well equipped. The student teacher interaction is very good here

Dislikes

There is not much to dislike about the college but some things like the connectivity of college can be a issue
The college doesn't have its own ground. It is shared with various colleges
The college doesn't has a decent auditorium hall

Internships Opportunities:

Internship programs are provided by the college at the end of the third year that is 6th semester. You can find an internship yourself also. There are paid as well as unpaid internships. Companies in the Suburban area of Mumbai provide you the internships. They give a stipend of around 7-10k per month.

Journey through VESCOP

Likes

Each class is air conditioned and has Smart boards for learning as well as black boards
Labs are under renovation which means the upcoming students will get modern well equipped laboratories

Dislikes

Labs are not air conditioned, computer lab staff is a bit rude when it comes to using computer facilities
There are not much disadvantages to this college except only the high fees

Internships Opportunities:

College itself provied you internship in good companies for 1 month inplant training. Students get good exposure to work and get hands on training in various pharmacy companies like sun pharma, IPCA etc

Likes

Classrooms and Library are made more and more comfortable so that we can focus on studies as much as possible
Laboratory has good practices. Instruments and equipments are advanced and we are made to understand and practice on them.
Events and competitions are such that we are able to boost our confidence.

Internships Opportunities:

After a third year, we have an in-plant training activity. The college provides us with the best companies possible. The college keeps in touch with the companies about our training. The companies are selected in such a way that they provide us with great knowledge possible.

Pharmacy at vescop in a nutshell

Internships Opportunities:

So far I've heard colleges come up with compulsory internshipss during the third year of the course. Seniors had got internships in companies like Merck. Though I'm not sure what is the scenario during the worldwide pandemic. The batch ahead of me didn't really get good internship opportunities unlike the previous one's so I really don't know what it'd be like for my batch.
