K J Somaiya College of Science and Commerce Mumbai M.Sc Microbiology: Fees 2026, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

Admission at Somaiya College is merit-based, illustrated by the reviewer's entry into 11th standard with a 93% in 10th grade, and subsequent top rankings in BSc and MSc programs. The faculty boasts highly qualified individuals, predominantly with PhDs and over 20 years of experience, alongside new, younger members. The college offers affordable education across various courses, with some unaided courses being expensive.

However, installment payment options and scholarships, particularly for female students, help alleviate costs. While placement opportunities exist, they currently do not cover students with a biological background. Internships are available but are unpaid. Scholarships are specifically available for students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds and for female students, with staff providing helpful guidance on accessing these opportunities.
