Symbiosis Law School Noida Faculties : Students' Opinion

AI-Generated Summary based on 42 Reviews

The faculty at the college is highly qualified, with most members holding Master's degrees or PhDs, and possessing over 6-7 years of teaching experience. The faculty is approachable, supportive, and engages in interactive teaching methods that relate theoretical knowledge to practical applications. A system of student-teacher assessment is in place, requiring students to provide anonymous feedback annually. Faculty-student interaction is encouraged beyond classroom hours, fostering a strong academic relationship. Although the teaching quality is good and continually improving, there is a need for more permanent faculty, as many are visiting professors.

Both male and female faculty members are equally represented. The faculty to student ratio is approximately 2:60. The college also facilitates guest lectures and workshops with legal professionals, enhancing the educational experience. The course structure includes continuous assessment and term-end examinations, with a credit system implemented across the semesters.

Teachers are helpful and approachable, and they are also knowledgeable in their domains, helping anytime you go to them. The curriculum is relevant and well-designed for students to manage academics along with other extracurricular activities. The course is well-designed, keeping in mind the necessity of the industry and coping with the standards, making students ready for an industry-practical approach. The difficulty level for the semester exams is slightly higher yet well-designed according to what one has studied throughout the semester; for that, classroom lectures are very crucial.

1. I would not say that I don't like any facility because they all were very kind and helpful to me. Even I've disturb then in late hours and they have replied to me and helped me. 2. As we all know as per the NAAC the course if divided into two modes of exam external and internal for external we have term end paper which use to happen after completing the semester. For internals out college different categories for eg if we have 20 marks of internal then i would be divided into two parts one will be an open book examination and other would be research writing or projects or assignment, it could be anything which management thinks suitable for the course. Also if the internal is of 30 or 40 marks which is usually for 4 credit score course in those we have to make 2 project or assignment or case analysis and other is ee have to write 20 marks open book exams.

The faculty of the college is top notch they are very experience teachers lecturers. They are very qualified in the jobs. The faculty most like is our accounts teacher. I am a non commerce student but the way she taught us accounts from the basic level made us understood everything. The feedback of the faculties also taken after the end of each semester and they are changed if the batch is not okay with them. There is one exam in middle of a semester that is tutorial it is an open book examination of 10 to 15 marks according to the subject credit. At the end of the semester there is ends that is the final exam for a semester. The course curriculum is very relevant

The faculty to student ratio is around 2:60 The student to student relationship is very good we have a qualified staff of faculty who are very considerate. Even our director sir who teaches us law of torts is pretty chill (but not in the case of dress code violation). The faculties are very approachable we can meet them anytime after the class hours upto 4pm and they also respond to mails sent by the students promptly. The faculty I liked the most is Dr. Meenakshi Kaul she teaches accountancy, coming from a non commerce background I am able to understand and score in her subject and the class is also very engaging in her period. There is no faculty I didn't like as there are pros and cons to every faculty and it changes person to person. Exams are conducted twice in a semester one is open book test of 15 marks which is comparitevly easy and the other is end semester exams which is held in Nov in sem 1 which is also moderate. Very less students are not able to pass the exams.

faculty to student relationship is good once students start interacting. they are very much approachable after the classes for any queries. the number of exams depends on the credit of the subject. the highest credit which is 4 is of 100 marks which is an aggregate of 4 exams. projects are given for each subject carrying different weightage. exams are not very tough neither easy but very analytical and application based. there is no such student who fail in exam. it is very relevant

Faculty:

Majority of the course teachers are easily approachable and have decent level of teaching skills. They employ both traditional and modern teaching methods. As far as the subjects are concerned, BA LLB includes sociology, history, ethics, history ,law of contracts, law of torts and english(preliminary aspects covered) for 1st semester. The exam system is a little bit complicated where namely 3 Internal continuous evaluations are designed to test the candidate's knowledge regarding different subjects and one main term end examination is held which is circulated by Symbiosis Pune. The narks of all these 4 are taken into account before calculating your CGPA.
