SLS Noida campus life, admission process, faculty, placement etc

Likes

Experienced faculty, most of them are graduated from nlus and abroad.
Great exposure, even because of its location and approachable seniors
Active student cells. Some are genuinely willing to guide and support you

Dislikes

Campus size is lil bit small, but have all facilities.

I appeared for many law entrance examinations like clat, ailet, slat, mhcet and so on. I have around 4.3k rank in clat and can easily get any tier-3 nlus. But Symbiosis law school have that brand name and locational advantage with so much exposure which really attracted me. As students often don't know there long term goals, so I would always advise them to take that college who excels in all diverse paths. And SLS noida is doing exactly that. Sls noida cutoff for in slat is around 29-36. But it all depends on personal interview afterwards

Unfiltered review: The reality of studying at Symbiosis Law School, Noida.

It's a very good campus where one need to no worry about the ragging and all so basically it's a ragging free campus.
The director of the college is very strict but helping at the same time.
They do understand the problem of the students in my case i wasn't able to pay the fees on time and because of that i was not allowed to fill the exam form then i maild the accounts department and i shared all my problems thrn they allowed me.

Dislikes

Though it's a good college with the strength of 300 students but i don't have bug campus.
One don't have access to the students of senior classes because of the different timming.
They are very punctual of time even if you are late by few seconds you won't be allowed to enter the class.

As i have already mentioned in my previous answers for any aspiring law student NLU is their one stop destination if not that then they have many options which is basically a private university. As i mentioned there are many private universities in which Symbiosis comes in one of the best colleges in fact in few cases it is better then NLUs also, so as I've already told you i didn't clear my CLAT exam so then i had very few options in my budget and Symbiosis was the perfectly fine for me that's why i chose this college. So answering your question what went wrong? CLAT is an all India based test in which almost a lakhs of students applied for it which makes it hard and highly competitive and now i look back then i can clearly say that my preparation was not up to the mark to get NLU so i didn't get it. Talking about the admission process. There is a test named SLAT (SYMBIOSIS LAW ENTRANCE TEST) which is basically an aptitude test like any other test but in SLAT they test your writing abilities as well for which they give us any topic on which we have to write. After clearing the aptitude test they arranged a Personal Interview after clearing both the tests we got into the college.

All about sls noida

Likes

The things I like our the college atmosphere, the college being in main City which is very easy for accommodation.
The college has benefit of being a supreme court.

Dislikes

The campus is way to small.it runs courses in one building and their is no ground.

Admission:

I choose this. college because of it's great placement. It has great locational value. I played for Nirma but being located in Allahabad there wasn't any location benefit to it SLS is way better than Nirma. I also gave clat , qnd and scored the rank of 4000 but I wasn't able to get in it. The college has slat exam , if u clear that there is a PI round . After that first merit list is released.

The facilities in the girls hostel are excellent
Qualitiy of the hostel facilities, mess food,medical.
Good infrastucture and good environment of college

No sports complex no ground no. proper facilities. of sports
college is very small as per they are charging the fees
college does not have a good canteen for the student

Admission:

I applied to many other colleges like Amity ,chandigarh and Delhi university university. but Symbiosis is amongst the top ranked law schools in India. the admission procedure is that you have to give SLAT which is an objective exam the after qualifing it you have to give Interview followed by WAT. you will receive a confirmation accordingly. if you do not get any national law school the definitely go for symbiosis. you will not only get a brand name but also good education.

Applied For This College After Not Qualifying Clat Exam This College Provides Great Locational Advantage For A Law Career With As Many District Courts, A High Court, And The Supreme Court Which Gives The College A Greater Edge As Compared To Other Colleges Even Some Nlus. Admission To This College Is Through An Online Exam Called Slat( Symbiosis Law Admission Test) Consisting 60 Questions For 60 Marks To Be Solved Within 60 Minutes Without Any Negative Marking. Further Passing This Exam Qualifies Candidates For A Personal Interview Round To Get Admissions In The College Further.

Reviewing SLS Noida all you need to know!

Likes

Majorly we have a very qualified faculty including AIR1 professors in diff competitive exams
Classes are not rigorous as our time is fixed which is 9:25am to 2:00pm with a 45 min and 15 min break in between and each class is just of 75 mins which enables the scope to do various other activities in the evening
Good competitive crowd as SLAT (entrance exam) has various filtering rounds such as personal interview and Cv and the curriculum is also up to date catering to the needs of cooperate placements which justifies the higher fees they charge

Dislikes

Very small campus with little to no sports facilities is a major drawback of the college but the college does send its students to various sports competitions
No boys hostel which is also a major drawback of the college earlier we used to have a boys hostel but after the construction of the new campus there is no boys hostel but just the girls hostel which is decent but a little higher priced
Less number of fests and activities are held in the college compared to other uni which makes the campus life a little boring and stale although we do have jamming sessions and cultural evenings now and then

Admission:

I applied to Nirma uni as well as Christ uni bangalore and got in both. But I chose SLSN mainly because of the Delhi proximity advantage it has. As majorly All the law chambers and firms are here only not to mention honourable Supreme Court. So getting Internships and placements is comparatively easy here compared to other to uni in which I got in. The admission of SLS Noida is done through SLAT which is a computer based entrance test occurred twice every year in may. But from 2024 onwards it will be held in the month of Dec after Clat. After clearing the cutoffs of the computer test students are required to appear for online personal interview for which they have to make a CV. The interview process is smooth they provide all the necessary info to the students like time slots and deadlines. So the overall admission process might be a little rigorous compared to other uni. The fees for Slat is ?4000 and applying to colleges on top is additional ?1000 per course

well adverse faculty - the professors teaching method is very impressive
placement cell - there is a different department for internship and placement which guarantees placement to the best level

Dislikes

small campus - as compared to the fees taken, there are very less facilities provided.
sls noida does not encourage much sport activities
strict work culture, fees taken for little inconvenience in uniform

sls noida has a good reputation. i applied to sls pune and noida only and got admission here. admission process is very simple that is through slat you have to give the written test and then the shortlisted candidates are called for personal interview.

The library in the college is well-equipped with knowledgeable and diverse books of distinct categories.Also the e-library access gives you the convenience of studying and referring to resources at home.
The faulty and the teachers are overall supportive and friendly with a few exceptions. U can personally meet them after college hours and clarify your doubts.

Dislikes

You won’t get the real feel of a college life as the campus is very small and as such nit much recreational facilities are available except the gym.
Attendance policy is very strict.Like you have to have 75% attendance no matter what.Medical leaves are put under the bracket of 25% remaining attendance only. So plan you calendar carefully
Fee is on the higher side.It may not be affordable for many students.

Admission:

SLS Noida was anyday a better option for me as it has great advantage due to it's proximity to the Delhi NCR area where major corporate offices and MNC's are located.Moreover it's close to the supreme court,high court and different disctrict courts where you can intern and get adept to practical knowledge. SLS Nodia takes students on the basis of a candidate's performance in the SLAT exam along with the Personal Interview round.It publishes a merit list for fir the same.

SLS NOIDA (A MODEL OF DISCIPLINE AND PROFESSIONALITY)

The discipline in the college and the competitive atmosphere.
The campus life and the teachers are very cooperative.

The area of the campus that is very small.
No availability of the sport grounds apart from the gym.

Admission:

I could have got NLU, Sonipat if i had gone for the counselling. But considering the location of SLS, Noida, where the top tier law firms are present of all India and the newly arrived NLU, Sonipat, I opted for Noida. It being in Delhi NCR provides huge opportunities for internship and various Ppo's from big law firms.

Necessary details about Symbiosis Law School Noida

Likes

There are very less things like college timing are good from 9-2 in 1st or second year.
They provide full opportunity to intern like with college you can intern you do your college in morning and then you can go to office.
They change the class timings as you enter 3rd,4th or 5th year like now I have lesser classes.

Dislikes

No boys hostel is provided in the college.
There is proper space for co-curricular activities like no football ground nothing.
Faculties are not that stable like every year faculties are changed, most rhe faculties who have taught me in 1st year have left the college l.

Admission:

I have filled form of SLAT Symbiosis Law Admission Test, and I am from COVID batch so it was difficult for me to do that but my score was 82 and I cleared symbiosis Pune as well as symbiosis Noida but I preferred Noida because of location I want to pursue litigation so it is easy to intern while you are in NCR. Also they take extra fee apart from filing examination form like if you want admission in BBALLB they will take another Rs.1000 and if you wont select that then later on you can't go ask that if seat is vacant can I change from BALLB to BBALLB
