Detailed review of BBDEC, Lucknow

Likes

Faculty is really good, they try to give attention to each and every student.
Co-Curricular activites are a mandatory and the respective club members approach you
The college campus is quite big with a 2 canteens, a stadium and a very good auditorium

Dislikes

The quality of students is quite mixed, some of them being a little rude and mannerless.
Practical knowledge is given but not upto par.
Classes don't have AC so it gets quite uncomfortable in summers.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placements from 7th semester. Major companies offering placements are TCS, HCL, Wipro Highest package has reached upto 17 lakhs per annum with a average of 6.2 lakhs. About 70% of students get placed on campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Syllabus is bit outdated i feel , all the colleges are affliated under aktu so they follow the course curriculum of aktu which i feel they should change it .overall , a good Syllabus but they should try to add more practical applications.

Better College in Lucknow

Likes

Campus environment is good and students are interactive
Infrastructure is muchh more better than other colleges
There is no attendance criteria in my college

Dislikes

Faculties are not friendly they treat like a teacher

In my course there are 8 semester and the college will held the 2 sessional exam and one pre university test exam in on semester And the practical exam are also held by the college in which we can do practical

i chose this course as i have interest in computer science and enginering, teachers are well educated with masters in technology or phd but their teaching method is not that good, exams are conducted once in every 3 months.

General review for BBDEC lucknow

The thing i like most is the environment of college where faculty , friends are very very supportive and kind .
Campus life is as good as we expected since our school days there are big stadium , tennis court , basketball court , volleyball court and a auditorium where students are able to showcase their skills .
Infrastructure of the college is also wonderful , it is around 100 acre and surrounded by green trees and gardens which enlightens the beauty of our college .

Dislikes

The placements cell is not providing any support or guidance to students . They do not bring any opportunities for final year students who want to learn some corporate experiences.
Availability of the books in college library is not sufficient there are hardly good books we find during our exam times . College management should look over this issue .
Course of btech CSE is similar to AI and IT departments . There is no such difference in these courses . Subject are circulated in every semesters .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have general interest in computer science fields during my schools days . Faculty student ratio is 15 : 200 students . All the faculty staff are well educated and have masters degree in their desired field . Their teaching methods are primitive no any technical support provided by them . Exam are conducted every month when two units finished by faculty . Paper quality is medium to hard and little bit difficult to score good marks

I adore our college's infrastructure for its modernity and functionality. The sleek architectural design seamlessly integrates with lush greenery, creating a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere. The well-maintained lawns and gardens offer students peace

Dislikes

I don't like Teaching staffs because they are not well experienced, College Placement cell is also not supporting students to provide more opportunities and internships students are grinding themselves for all these things. Overall Dissatisfied From

I choosen the course because I got fw seat through counselling and general interest in Computer science field. Faculty Student ration is about 15:240 All faculties are graduated and have doctrate degrees and teaching methods is not satisfactory but we are managing somehow to get good grades Terms exams are being conducted after covering up 2 units every months and paper was quite tough to get passing marks

Likes

Faculty are too good. as they help and motivate you to bring you true pontential.

Dislikes

Pentaly charged on late fees but this happens everywhere.

All the teachers here are MTECH and all of them have a unique style of teaching. There are three sessional exams happens every semester and then a pre-university exam. and then one main sem exams happens

I like the infrastructure of this college.
Everything is available near the college.

Dislikes

surrounding of the college is not that much good.

From the 7 semester students are eligible to sit in the campus placements. The average package of this college is 4 lpa and highest is 25 lpa till now. Mostly the profile offered is Software Developer. If you punctual and give attention to placements you will get the placement.

Overall good college.

Likes

Campus life is quite awesome here followed by nearly all sports activities.
Admission process is quite smooth here, they take you to admission cell in a car.
All basic amenities are available here from water to wifi.

Dislikes

Scholarship department is not that much active.
They impose late fees quite early if you do not submit fee on time.
Parking area is quite overcrowded they need to expand it.

I chose this course as I wanted to do engineering as I was interested in it. the faculty-to-student ratio is around 1:60. Teachers are well qualified with masters in technology and their teaching method is awesome as they are well experienced. Exams are conducted once every three months in the form of a sessional.

1.5 year Journey of a engineer

Likes

College faculty is supporting and helping nature
Infrastructure and the ambeanse
Positive vibes and environment friendly campus

Dislikes

Delay in completing the course and not proper classes were provided
Management system is not good

Placement Experience:

From semester 6 onward students became eligible for sitting in placement There were multiple companies visiting the campus and we're hundred of selection drives were held The highest package were sometimes 12 lakhs and sometimes upto 15 lakhs The average package may be between 4 to 5 lakhs In the past year maximum students up upto 75 per cent of students get placed in good companies My plans after getting the degree are if I secure a good job I'll continue it and if I do not get a job I'll pursue btech
