The student's activities at IMERT include:Outdoor Management Training (OMT): OMT is a unique initiative that imparts management learnings to the students like- Human Resource Management, Leadership skills, Resource Management, Time management, Decision making, and various management and life skills amongst the students. OMT is organized by IMERT twice a year.Nelda Tree Plantation & Conservation: IMERT has signed an MOU with the Deshp group for Project Nelda which is a CSR initiative by the Deshp group for Plantation and Conservation of trees including tree plantation at various places in and around Pune on Sundays.

Does IMERT take students for industrial visits as a part of the curriculum?

Industrial visits are all-inclusive components of the curriculum organized by IMERT that includes one day visit to the organizations nearby Pune city. IMERT also organizes Industrial Study Tour every year in the month of December to the neighboring & industrially advanced state.

We get good placements from various companies. The companies that came this year were D E Shaw, TresVista, Citi Bank, Morgan Stanley, ZocDoc and so on. Highest package for Undergraduate was around 7lakh and for Mastrts it was 9.5 lakh. The college does not provide internships but it will help the students to get corporate internships through its placement cell.

The placement cell provided us with numerous personality development training and mock interviews to prepare us in advance for the exhaustive recruitment process. Many big and small brands like Ranbaxy, Cognizant, Cadbury, Mahindra, etc. visit our campus for the placement drive. The highest package secured by a student during my batch was around 6 LPA.
