Reality of UPES

Likes

Nature around the campus while is all greenery.
Because the camper is situated outside the main city of Dehradun, it is a very pleasant in between of the mountains.

Dislikes

the road connectivity for the college is really bad. There is only a 9 to 10 seater vehicle, which will drop you. You must have your own vehicle or a Scooty.
As the college is taking too much fees, but the placement is not So promising and very low

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

The total fee structure is of 1700000 in total for education (Except Hostels & Foods) Every year in 5 years the fees increase. There is scholarships for girls and domestical of uttrakhand and other scholarships for stidemts students having marks above 90%

Navigation the Legal Minds: review of UPES academic journey.

Likes

The campus life is awesome, you'll definitely enjoy campus life in the mountains of dehradun. The infrastructure is also good.
The faculties are very supportive. They definitely helps students for their academics and co-curricular activities.

Dislikes

The very first thing which I do not like is the hike of fees every year.
Even the collage administration do not co-operate with the students in terms of their semester fees.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

Over the past 5 years the university keep on increasing the fees. When I joined in the year 2019, the total fees of LLB program was approximately 15 lakhs. Now, the fees increased to 21 lakhs for 5 years LLB program. Yes! They provide 20% of scholarship if the student maintain more than 8 CGPA throughout the year. They also provide 50% scholarship on tuition fees to the alumni students who comes for masters degree.

Upes a place to study and chill in ultimate way.

Likes

The faculty. The teachers are so helpful and kind
The infrastructure, over here is very amazing and in beautiful valley surrounded my mussorie hills

Dislikes

Crowd. The crowd over here is not as good.
Distance. Being a localite i have to travel 1hr one side

The fee structure is okay and average over here or i must say its on the upper side when added hostel , twenty lakh for 5 year course is okay Placement over here is good because my friend's sister also graduated from here and got a starting package of 15.6 lakh over here from bba llb. And campus also recruits sometimes!

Critical review of UPES

Likes

Infrastructure of the college is better than other.
some faculties are super friendly and supportive.

Dislikes

Placement process is very hectic and not worth
Doesn't teach core subjects like Jurispridence, Sociology, etc.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

UPES is costly and somewhat worth it. Every semester there is a fee hike of around Rs. 10,000 and it cost more fees than mentioned in its Boucher which is given at the time of admission. University provides scholarships to Uttarakhand Domicile, Girls, and class toppers.

UPES school of law honest review

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

Fees are overrated the cost of study Total is 1800000. The financial assistance is you can get a student loan moreover with it you can get scholarships provided by the university also don't expect anything good.

CAMPUS INTERNSHIP

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

UPES charges heavy fees from students but I think UPES worth it. My course total fees is around 17lakh for 5 years except hostel and other fees. There are different scholarships plan available on the college website or brochure. Many banks and financial institutions assist students with their financial management. On-campus job opportunities available 90% of students get placed in well-reputed universities.

Awesome College

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

The cost to study in UPES is a bit costly. It has a scholarship for girls and not for boys except rank holders. I think job opportunities are more in UPES as they have a high placement percentage.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

Fee structure is really Well divided for whole course. A student can get multiple Scholarship opportunity like 12th marks Best scholarship, CLAT rank based scholarship, Uttarakhand domicile scholarship, girl child scholarship. They even provide financial assistance in campus with very minimal Interest.

University of Petroleum and Energy Studies. A good law college

Roughly, college and hostel fee for 5 years will amount to over 25 lacs. Fee increases 10% every year. They offer a few scholarships which you can get info about from the college only. They have 96% campus placement.
