ASM's Institute of Management & Computer Studies Mumbai Course Admission 2025: Dates, Fees, Eligibility, Application Process, Selection Criteria

IMCOST runs two courses of B.Com and BMS at undergraduate level.  B.Com is offered in three subject specializations having duration of three years.

Candidates must have passed in Higher Secondary School Certificate/ class 12 examination conducted by the different Divisional Boards of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education in any discipline.

• The eligibility criteria is relaxed to 40% for reserved category candidates.
• Candidates UG courses must have passed the class 12 examination or equivalent in first attempt only.
• All applicants are required to register under Mumbai University admission portal and submit the application form within the prescribed dates to the institute.
• Aspirants may apply for institutional level seats directly. The selection to institutional seats is subject to selection through personal interview.  

At PG level candidates the institute offers courses of MMS and MCA. The admissions to these courses are done through Centralized Admission Process conducted by DTE, Maharashtra. As  necessary requirement, candidates applying for MMS course must have valid scores of MH CET MBA/CAT/XAT/CMAT/ATMA/MAT while MCA candidates must have obtained test scores of MAH-MCA-CET.

The minimum eligibility for both the courses is bachelor’s degree in any discipline with minimum 50% marks in aggregate. In addition to this, those interested in MCA course must have studied mathematics as a core subject in class 12 or graduation level.

The institute also offers admission to the PGDM Dual Degree course for which any graduation degree holder can apply.

The institute also offers three years part time courses in management. The admission to these courses is subject to satisfaction of eligibility criteria as per the norms of Mumbai University and interview conducted by the institute.  

• MCA and MMS aspirants should have passed/given their degree examination on or before July 31.
• CAP invites application in online mode. Applicants can apply from any computer with internet facility or else can visit designated Facilitation centers for registration and document verification.
• Candidates applying for part time courses must have relevant work experience of minimum two years or five years (whichever applicable).
• For part time courses candidates must apply through online admission portal of Mumbai University and choose IMCOST as their preferred institute.
• Also, applicants need to contact the admission cell of the institute for interviews.
• They may apply under institutional level seats by sending the requisite documents via post, email Id or in person.
• In such cases candidates will be shortlisted after verification of documents and personal interview.
