The people you meet are nice, but the college is shit honestly.

Likes

Infrastructure, equipment, extracurricular activities
Practical and fun lectures of some subjects
Clubs and fun activities are promoted heavily

Dislikes

Some teachers are very rude and arrogant, lacking empathy
Hostel food is very bad, I'm not a hosteler but my friends tell me the food is always stale and tasteless
The locality has alot of antisocial elements as well

Admission:

I initially want to go to UPG but the fees was too high, thus I had to settle for dgmc, which is not cheap but the most I could afford. I was not rejected from any colleges which I applied in. The admission process was pretty smooth, no eligibility exams or anything, some documentation, you pay the fees, and you're in.

Voyage of College life.

Likes

I like the environment of the institute, it feels like very comfortable place for one to study
Teachers are very friendly, teachers make a huge difference in what person you will become or come out after 3 years.

Dislikes

Admission:

I had applied to 3 colleges, first was UPG, Mithibai and DGMC. I got my name in first merit of dgmc and UPG i wanted to wait for mithibai, it did come but by the time i already took admission in DGMC. In DGMC there is no entrance exam (yet) it's purely based upon your 12th score.

Being a part of this college was the best decision ever!

Admission:

There was an entrance test. The test was based on the questions related to current affaors and general knowledge, followed by an interview with the course-coordinators and principal herself. The admission process was smooth and the staff was helpful throughout the entire process. It was online so there was no need to endanger ourselves during the pandemic. The application form and every other detail is easily available on the website.

Admission:

Interview was taken one on one by the dean of the college itself and they asked why did i wanted to join there college and not others and why this course particularly, i didn't prepare for interview, just went ahead and was being myself.

The master of media studies.

Admission:

The admission process is very easy one just has to fill the college form, the infrastructure, staff, teachers are highly qualified every teacher has done PhDs in some field. I wanted to pursue Mass media and this college is only for media studies so it fitted right to my requirements. There not much bad about the college overall it's one of the best colleges for media studies.

Was the best one till Principal came in.

Admission:

Through my grades in 2016. It was merit system based and my grades were good enough. So here we were supposed to go to Saraf college apply for admissions. Wait for the merit lists. After your name appears just go and pay the particular amount. And it's done.

Admission:

I love making films and taking photographs so that's why I chose this course and I got admission the faculty of this college is really great in my 1st year and then the college changes the principal and college is not good anymore, the college structure very good.

Overall Good College

Admission:

The admission procedure in this college is very simple. All you need is your 10th & 12th mark sheets xerox along with other nominal documents such as Aadhar, etc. Even if you get 50% marks there is no problem. And even if you get 90% marks there is no problem. They take students from anywhere between 50-90%.
