What is the syllabus of the GAT conducted by the GITAM School of Technology?

The duration of the test is 2 hours. The test consists of three sections and all questions are of objective type (multiple choice questions). Each question has four options of which one is correct. Each correct answer will be awarded 2 marks. The wrong answer and unanswered questions will receive nil marks.The test will be held online. The students can give the test through a computer, tablet or a mobile, which should have an internet connection and a working front camera. The test is web proctored and usage of any unfair means is forbidden. The login details for the test will be shared with the candidates prior to the exam.

Infrastructure and facilities provided by my college
I lovey college and social interactions with lectures and friends
The quality of infrastructure is perfectly good and learning facilities are also better

Dislikes

Attendence criteria for mid examination and sem examinations
College is very very far from the city and the college hostel fees are also high
Students will not use the facilities provided by our college in sports

Internships Opportunities:

And our college provides internship with stipend around 6000 -10000 and it also provides the certificate based on our intership and it also provides projects from different companies like tcs accenture which also provides stipend based on our work

well for my course cse placements are very people having good cgpa are definitly get good placements according to my seniors and gitam offres many other courses which we would like to persue. almost every one who are qualified to placements get a good placement. the average package is 4 lpa

The ambience around the campus and the environment here
Clubs in this college are at another level you can have everything and any club you need.
The facilities they provide are just awesome if you use them

Dislikes

Students are not that merit over here you cannot get good competition

Internships Opportunities:

They provide some good internship opportunities. There is a seperate staff for the placement cell and they'll take care of everything you need so you can easily get access to everything.The internship starts from the 4th semester itself.

We get to select the teachers for every semester
The Events held are great and provide a lot of exposure for introverted students and they can actually help them.
The sports facilities are good and well maintained

in truely appreciate the faculty and engaded course offfered , which made me learn and enjoy evry moment of my college time .
the infrastructure and ambience throughout the college cafes and greenary around college , good time spending places , and mainly sports complex which includes all the games such as kabaddi , table tennis , and fuse ball even
the way teachers approach students for evry thing in college such as marks awarding , corrections , and etc

Dislikes

heavy workload such as too much of assignments , notes writing and projects
strict rules such as attandance policies , or some restrictions which we feel frustrating
high tution fees per year and other expenses which a commmon man cannot afford it

Internships Opportunities:

internship opportunities are often moderate , while some reputated companies offer internship in roles like with stipendiing ranging from low to higher amount . many internship are unpaid or offer a stipend below expectations . overall internships are encouraged , the quality and availability need improvement.

The diversity of the college is pretty nice . People from everywhere can be seen here .
Great Fests and Events take place very often . Being parts of different clubs are also fun.
Canteen food is another thing i love . Its affordable and hygienic and tasty . Different varieties can be found .

Dislikes

The freedom is a bit too much . People may take advantage of it . Being in ones limits is a good decision.
The work load is also may feel hectic at times . The assignments and exams may get to you .
Travelling for me has been a problem . I feel a bit too tired at times from the journey .

There are many internship oppurtunities here Few of my friends have been selected to these and are earning around 5000 to 15000 a month . I havent been selected in any as im targeting to pursue something else. Companies like Unilever , Axelon ,NXTWAVE and more have come here .

GITAM A YES OR A NO?

The events are amazing, they are on a pretty big scale
The workshops and people coming in as speakers are good
The classes are really good, i like the structure of the classes

Dislikes

Veryy bad for you if you don't speak Telugu, hard to mimgle
The wifi becomes a problem sometimes, network issues are common
Its inside a village rudraram and to fo any stuff outside there is hardly anywhere to go, everything is very far

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from their 3rd year itself. There are lots of companies who vist our campus every year including big names like microsoft, accenture, hdfc bank etc. and they make pretty good offers. Tcs also visits and does mass recruitment, one academic year they hired 700+ students in one go. The highest package is 50lpa+ bagged by two students and 6-7 lpa on an average. I would say atleast 80 percent of students are being placed. I plan to do mba after the degree

An Insightful Journey to GITAM ,Hyderabad

The vibrant campus life , excellent faculty support and the best infrastructures, and also the good support of peer friends .
The girls to boys ratio is 60:40 and it is more often equal also. the faculty expertise are so qualified for teaching us , they teach us using the modern methods and teach us practical way .
The sense of community was strong and the students being collaborative and supportive , you have a lot of learning facilities and that includes best libraries.

Dislikes

There are opportunity for placements when you area having 8.5 CGPA overall .
And who likes the 75% attendance criteria . and also the fees for backlog is 10,000 . If you fail only in external exam the you have to pay 3,000 and if you fail the whole course then the fees of backlog is very high .
Fine for not submitting fees is also very high

Internships Opportunities:

Interships which are offered by recent companies are AVENA , Signode and they are paid intership 50,000 per month and they are offered for the role of dev or sde rolel . and sometimes interships are given to the students who are having 8.5 CGPA above also ... and you need to have a good project based on your interest like MERN stack project and also you can have leetcode for the DSA , E commerse website and also any clone so that company may get to know about our tech stack

I like the college atmosphere very much because of the greenery of the college and I felt the cool and fresh breeze everywhere
I like the infrastructure which is beautifully build in the G shape which represent the college name gitam and it feels greatful to study here because of the infrastructure too
I like the fests and the events conducted here in our college we have the fests every week which we feel as refreshing

Dislikes

I stayed in the Gitam hostel and I have used to hate the food in the hostel because it doesn’t tastes well
The distance between the college and the hostel makes me the most irritated part and we used to walk kms to reach the college and hostel
The pollution is here very high as the factory present here we having the smoking pollution here which pollute the college environment

Internships Opportunities:

Yeah I have done an internship on the web development project called the resume builder and I have shown to the faculties and our guides about my experience and they have reviewed my work and appreciated my about my work and talent I've got

We have many fests every week which refresh our mind and we have many clubs to participate too which helps to increase our skills
Our university atmosphere is soo good which we can feel an cool breeze in every place of the campus and we have an greenery trees which looks cool
Our campus had an amazing infrastructure where our mind can feel more confident about our education

Dislikes

The most worst part is food they provide in the hostel it is unlimited but the taste of food is not worth it!
The distance between the college and hostel is long it is hard to walk between college and hostel
Our university located in the city outskirts which makes us travel long distances for any small needs like hospital or any shopping like a stuff.

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college is good every year our college has very good placement percentage and many students can easily palce in our campus based on their performances and in our batch we are getting good numbers of placements too and we have this average package like 4.5 lakhs and we are happy with the placements in our campus
