Likes

the faculty is very cooperative and helpful they are always there for us
infrastructure of the college is good
hospital area is very big and chairs for patients

Dislikes

campus and parking area is very small

Internships Opportunities:

after the full course of four years and getting the degree of dentistry the college provide internship of one year in which students get stipend of twelve thousand per month for a year and free camp also in government hospitals

The seniors are very helpful and we can count on them
The treatment is of free of cost in MY hospital
The dental treatment are also free of cost

Dislikes

Lecture hall are small and we need some separte areas for students
The college is small soo we need some bigger area
The college ground is very small........

Internship tenure is of one year and all students have to complete this period with getting posted in all departments and learning all sort of things including the way to deal with real life problems So you will be a good doctor at the end

Life at GDC Indore

Likes

The community as a whole is very supportive
The college is very centrally located with good transportation services available
The city life at indore is pretty good with all amenities available

Dislikes

The infrastructure and amenities could be better met with
The lack of a cafeteria in the college campus

Internships Opportunities:

The internship is offered by the state government within the dental hospital. The monthly stipend is 12000/month. The individual is eligible for internship after completing their final year examinations

It is awesome till now.Here we learn new things every day we are learning to manage our stress and still enjoy life fully
I like senior junior bond very much .they are like jinny to us .
The most beautiful thing ive learned here is batch unity

Dislikes

University exams and practicals are a bit unpredictable

Internships Opportunities:

Our college provide internship after completion of final year .They also provide stipend of around 12k monthly. This internship lasts for 1 year and it is compulsory for all dental students to complete it

Fest , that is every year a fest is highly appreciated
College environment is good and a safe place to study
Teachers and non teaching staff is highly appreciated

Dislikes

Timing issue as a student , like dindt able to get up ealry
Parking area should be increased as more bikes and cars are coming
College ground colud be more big for playing

Internships Opportunities:

Internship is provided by the college in the 5 th year with a package of 15000 per month and with further bond eith the university we get additional 2year intership with a pakcage of 55000k per month.

Likes

Campus life is lit and you got to socialize so much.
The curriculum is interesting and the practical work improves you alot
The maintenance of balance between work and personal life which i learnt here is fabulous. You study and do your work with enjoying your social life everyday.

Dislikes

Infrastructure is small and limited. It should be increased soon.

Internships Opportunities:

You got to do the internship in each department one by one for a year after course. And it gives good experience on hand. Then after you have to do a rural service of one year which also provide opportunity to learn and interact with patients.

GDC Indore, insights.

Likes

The staff is good and helpinf. Teachers are highly skilled and helps to get through the course.
The patient flow is high therefore we get good experience.
Easy access to facilities like hostels and pg as there are many nearby.

Dislikes

There is no ground, a very small garden, no courts and no sports.
No clubs or any other intrest can find its way.
Infrastructure can be overall better and course and things could be more strict and on time.

Internships Opportunities:

Government college of dentistry according to my knowledge does not provide internship opportunities to other students. They only provide internships to the students studied there which is compulsory internship with stipend.

The students after completing their degree can either set up their own clinic or pursue post graduation. There are no such placements in our field.

Being a medical student has its own benefits, like owning your own profession by having a clinic and being your own boss. Students are welcomed to practice in the hospital owned by our college itself.

How Dentistry became from my profession to passion too.

Placement Experience:

The college has its own hospital which welcomes the students to come work with them any time, most of them opt for higher studies (MD) and some practice by setting up their own clinic. Internships are up to the interest of the students, the college has no such rules.
