review about the GIBS

Likes

the curriculum and the unique IRE program they have in which students have to start a business from the ideation level
the faculty who are expertise in their field and almost everyone are Phd holders, so it guaranteed that the knowledge we get is always great

Admission:

i applied to the flame university which is located at pune it has one of the best infrastructures in india the college has verything but the reason why i didnt choose that college was the placements, the placements were very less when compared to the fee they charged and i also applied for isbr and got selected bu i chose GIBS over ISBR because of their IRE program they hav i was very much impressed by the IRE program the admission process was an online interview and then a GD round and then we were selected. the minimum eligibility criteria is that we need to have a valid and a decent score from our entrance exam.

I share why i choose GIBS over other colleges which i have applied to. The admission process was smooth and well organised, the main reason is the cirrculum they offers and value add on certifications for career oppurtuinities.

Campus is good and teaching is also good and it is best course.
Teachers are giving good support for students curriculum.
In college we are having gym and club house facilities

I applied for frist syadri college manglore Nitte banglore Acharya institute banglore And admission process was very good and students should any of entrance exams and some of initial fees we have to paid

GIBS Business School Review 2025

The teaching faculty do a great job of helping the students understand the various topics covered under the syllabus
Social life around the campus is great and students are given the freedom to roam around the campus at will and this encourages everyone to socialise with each other
The quality of the infrastructure is great as the classrooms are equipped with the necessary tools required and there is a fully equipped computer lab along with training and development room too

Dislikes

There aren't proper sports facilities and those could be worked upon down the line
There isn't good ventilation in all the classrooms in the campus and it gets stuffy at times during classes
The food around campus could be improved for sure especially during the lunch time, the students are usually displeased with the mess food provided

Admission:

I chose this college mainly due to the IRE and CPMP programs offered by the college. During the time I was looking for colleges these two things struck my eyes and I was interested in joining them. I have also heard good feedback in general about the college. The college admission requires the CAT exam and the overall admission process is very smooth and efficient

The 1st thing I liked about this college is the infrastructure which shows professionalism.
The teachers are very friendly and supportive
They have special sessions and lectures and IRE classes

Dislikes

There is no proper play area which is disappointing
As there is very minimum strength of students there's no effective fests
The Hostel food is horrible and think twice about joining hostel

Admission:

Actually I got a mail from IIM ROHTAK as I appeared for IPMAT exam and I got selected for the IPL course. Unfortunately I thought to pursue my BBA in GIBS and prepare for CAT exam to crack IIMs and get along.

worthy for money and great infrastructure

Likes

i like the the way that the faculty treat every student
good infrastructure and good climate among friends
there will be at least 1 event per week and also there will be many fests

Dislikes

there will be no hostel facility for second and third year students and should stay in PG
and also there will be hostel facility for second year PGDM also
there is only one bus provided by the college for students in hostel which is enough

Admission:

i got admission in symbosis banglore campus but i choose GIBS over symbosis is because the teacher to student ratio in symbosis is not good as gibs cause gibs 1st year strength is just 120 and 60 per class. and i got rejected by iim indore and rothak cause of less marks in ipmat. to join gibs you just need to attend an online interview and if you get selected then congrats you are in.

The teachers are friendly and supportive
There are people from each states which is a great thing.
The college infrastructure is good with modern facilities

Dislikes

Some teachers dont teach well. U cant even understand anything.
The management is not so good. Really not good.
There are no events done. No inter college fest organised. No concerts, fest and all

Admission:

Actually, being honest- i didn't thought much about joining this college. I just got the advertisement of this college and i joined. Even though its a good college, there are more better options too in Bangalore or in India
