Likes

Lab facilities and friendly teaching nature
Cultural events with more number of celebrities
Infrastructure of college campus with lift facilities

Dislikes

Rules about bringing mobile phones to college in 1st year
Holidays on Saturday are only alternative
Forcing students to do their lab courses

Admission:

As I have aimed to get addmission in st Joseph's College of engineering in Chennai in councelling. But due to some circumstances I couldn't get seat in that college. Due to parents opinion i have joined in sri manakula Vinayagar enginnering college. Comparison between st Joseph's and sri manakula Vinayagar enginnering college is cannot be done because of cost of living will be different from Chennai. Admission process is also simple as well can get addmission by approaching college office.

I like the way they teach the class overall the facility members are well trained and more supportive for the statements placements.
I also like the lab and college infrastructure the still maintain in a good way
I also like the transport facility and hostel facility which is arranged by the management for the outdoor students.

Dislikes

They didn't give the same preference or same share to the sports
I didn't like the time they allocate for the lunch the class hours is one hour and the lunch is 40 minutes
You may not be able to adjust to how fast the life at college

Main reason for picking this college is placements record in the college based on the year growth to mnc companies ready to tie-up with our college i applied for three colleges and i get the approval form this college. The Godfather secondary marks and exam counselling while next for the submission process

They are building new blocks i like that
my college canteen will be good i like that
i like the interaction between students and teachers

Dislikes

i dont like the restroom cleanliness it is bad
i dont like the ground because it is very bad
i dont like the security because they were rude

No, before centac itself i got management seats in this college. After my centac results came out, i got seat in this college through centac in Artificial Intelligence. No i didnt apllied to other colleges.

Likes

They helped in learning new things and we have learned my things
In our college we have daily test in the morning and it makes has to learn many things
In our college they follow some rules and regulations like the dress code

Dislikes

The time duration for lunch is too short
We don't have leaves at Saturday and it's working day for us
We don't have many cultures function in our college

Admission:

I applied for to college and one is Pondicherry University and another one is Sri Manakula Vinayagar engineering College and I got for smvec College No I don't get rejection from any other college Eligibility of our college based on the mark you scored

Experience at smvec.

Likes

the vast lab resources and the certification courses they encourage to pursue.
Sports event and the ground they provided was good
The overall infrastructure was excellent.

Dislikes

There was no culturals, farewells and celebrations.
The fees for management students seems high.

Admission:

I choosed this college over other colleges mainly for its placements. But the bad things was it's donation fees. Which was too high. To get admission at this college come directly to the college office which was at right side of the gate where you enter. There are faculties to assist you on the admission process.

Life at SMVEC

Likes

Nice college for the student who want to learn and earn mark, other than that they have nothing
They have good placements and quite good surrounding
Other than that there is no cultural and other enjoyment activity

Dislikes

There is no cultural in college and their is no enjoyment
Mist of the college faculty doesn't know anything
They don't give Oon duty for all the students

Admission:

In pondicherry, we have a Centac scheme through which we can apply to various college present in pondicherry. I put this course in 4th preference and got this in the second round of the centac. There is demand for this course in another government college

A thing I never forgot.

Likes

Boys and girls ratio is 2:3 , all are being best friends
Over campuses very liberal and very clean
In our college girls and boys spoke each other and maintain gender equality

Dislikes

College management is very responsible to take good decisions regarding students welfare
There is no bonding between staff faculties and separate gang is maintained

In general admission is done by either management quota or Government quota, I get seat in this college by management quota because I am student from Tamil Nadu and the college is in Pondicherry. And also my marks is very lesson that is 80% so that I have not get any government colleges for agriculture in Tamilnadu.

I chose this college due to the availability of the placements of this college I also applied to Puducherry University but didn't get in due to shortage of marks This college conducted a eligibility test before accepting the students

My College Story

Likes

Sports will be allowed in our college but it must ve encouraged still more .
Staff are being friendly maximum so it makes the good bond.
Lower ground staff make the college clean every time and its good enough.

Dislikes

The canteen foods are not good enough but its ok
Bus fees are too high its ok when its become less
Some times staff will be cornering us for the simple reason

Admission:

Pass your 12 th and apply for centec if younscored good marks you can get admission from there . Or u can give donation to the management and get ur admission it differs on the diff departments . The application can be get from college official website
